Very noisey heat. Sounded like a train coming through our room. Wish that was considered when putting HVAC systems in that people actually want to sleep 🛌.

Wish I would have known that we would need to valet park for 40 dollars a day. Wish the restaurant had been open the evening of our stay. Bathroom was tiny!!

Staff were all extremely friendly. Beautiful hotel in a great location. Very clean.

i always feel the parking is extremely expensive. there is ample parking at the hotel why is it necessary to charge $40 per day

Hidden fees. Charged me a resort fee of $75 at check out, only releasing part of the cc hold they said they would release entirely at checkout. Parking is an additional $40 a day. Good luck finding street parking fr 5/1-10/1. Room service provided every three days.

The location is perfect. W/in walking distance to everything. I didn’t use my car once.

The hotel was overwhelmed around Christmas and as a result if you had not booked a restaurant in town or in the hotel then you went to bed hungry. Room Service was suspended as the staff were overwhelmed during Christmas, and well that is almost unacceptable. The hotel needs to cater for the higher number of guests and tourists around the Festive Season. Also the restaurant needs a revamp in terms of service (additional staff) and better food.

The location was excellent and the rooms were comfortable. The public areas were nice as well. We did not use much of the facilities as we were out and about. The staff were friendly and responsive. In fact they were great.

Understood the size of the rooms were due to original building structure and historic structure however the room was pretty small. We had difficulty adjusting the heat in the room which made the room a bit stuffy.

Historic venue… centrally located … Spa was by far the best part of the experience there.

When I got the bill I was shocked at all the unexpected fees added that made a room for two days for $199 per day into a $600 expense - a 50% increase! I was not expecting this.

The restaurant was wonderful as was the room and location.

they charged me $40 to park with a $35 “resort” fee. it was off season so you would think they would want customers to stay at their hotel. What do I need a $35 resort fee in the middle of winter? And parking was not full that time of year. Ridiculous. My159 rate ended up to be close to $300!!

I was very disappointed to find out upon checkout that valet parking for $40/night. Even during the off season! Valet parking was the only option at this hotel! I would have gladly parked myself but they said they only do valet. Which I was okay with, but when I got my bill I was outraged!

The pillows were so uncomfortable and the curtains did not block the sun at all - it was not a good night sleep. It was very hard to find your way around the hotel.

Have to pay to park, which I personally have never had to pay to park at a hotel I was already paying to staying at. Our room was a very far distance from hotel entrance and had stairs in the middle of the floors which it made it very difficult to transport our luggage using the cart. Our room was also a bit neglected, nothing was plugged in, we had no body wash in shower, had not one extra toilet paper roll, dusty in areas, our mini fridge made a loud buzzing noise and there were small ants in our bathroom and in our bedroom- not infested but definitely enough to notice. Also there were fire pits outside with seating which was nice, but only one worked because all the rest were out of gas.

Property itself was nice, spa was great, pool and hot tub area nice and open late which was great. Also good location.

Horrible mattress and pillows. Room location was bad because we had to carry 3 suitcases up and down the stairs after we got out of the elevator. No porter service. A coffee maker in the room would be nice since there was no continental breakfast available.

We always request a room on a higher floor for a view. Hotel Viking has five floors we were on the fourth floor. The view was ok. The room and the bathroom were extremely small. Bathroom had no vanity to place your toiletry bag. I would have expected a larger room for the price we paid. For whatever reason, we were unable to get the Fox sports 1 channel in order to watch the last game of the ALCS, at least they got Monday Night football

The hotel is very prestigious looking. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The hotel staff is was friendly and courteous. The location of the hotel is perfect, a quick walk down to the center of town and is located on a lovely quaint street.
