Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesWe came to have a little weekend away and check in was at 4pm but our room wasn’t ready until 6pm not a single staff member smiled the whole stay. They are miserable. We asked for a king bed since I’m 6 foot and it was just the two of us. But we got 2 double beds. It wasn’t worth letting the staff know they were impossible to get ahold of and every time we came down there was a line. Way over priced for this hotel. The second we checked in they tried to sell us a time share and attend a seminar to get free stuff… terrible way to start off the trip. Check out was 10 but there was a note in the room saying check out was at 11.. we went to the desk to ask for a little bit of a late check out considering our room wasn’t ready till 6pm…. The “supervisor” said the system won’t allow her to give a late checkout. Where is the manager?!!!

Management was not apt to rectify the situations making this a very stressful and not the respite trip we were hoping for… will it be returning.

United StatesIt is impossible to reach the front desk! On several instances we needed to reach the front desk and were left either holding for 15+ minutes(three times!) or the call dropped. I tried to call for a late check out, took a half hour to actually talk to someone and then the best they could do was thirty minutes for a 10 am checkout. I also tried to check in early before 4 (already a later than usual check in time) and was told I could check in at 2. I asked if I needed to call ahead and confirm day of and was told no, "if it wasn't ready then it would be made ready quickly". Nope. We got there at 1:45 and waited two hours to get into our room. The only reason I am even writing this bad review is because I am stuck on hold waiting to talk to the front desk about double charging my card now... going on 23 minutes on hold now, yay! Really frustrating. Will not recommend staying here.

United StatesI didn't like that they tried to sell us on some wine tasting experience. I understand we're in the wine country etc. But I just wanted to check in and settle down first.
Completely exceeded my expectations. Wonderful facility and love the set up of the split rooms. When we have family traveling out of state we will for sure recommend them staying there.

The location was excellent. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. The one bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable.

United StatesThe front desk tries to sell you on timeshares a couple times. Also they were VERY rude when we showed up past check in time and our room wasn't ready... They acted like we were inconveniencing them. They huffed and puffed about how they'd have to give us someone else's room so someone else would have the same issue. Very odd.
Comfortable beds, very spacious, decently clean, beautiful uncrowded clean pools, wonderful spa and vineyard and tasting rooms on property.

United StatesThe shower was cold. It did not have hit water. The washer and dryer were left outside of the closet preventing us from using that closet. The room smelled like fish it was disgusting .
