Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The rooms were spectacular but little items were not working properly like the door knob, toilet constantly running, phone system, tv malfunction, visible tv wires etc.

United StatesThere was no way we could use the pool with what was going on in there. To each his own, but I would never want to be close to that kind of behavior. What a disappointment in your hotel!
So we booked this hotel specifically for the wonderful pool. When we arrived on Friday evening, we found the pool looked like a porno movie site. We had no idea the pool was a site for a Pride gay convention gathering. We learned later that these folks were not even guests at the hotel and they took over the pool from paying family minded guests. I understand that your hotel probably made more profits at the expense of your hotel guests. I think you should have warned your guests what to expect….

United StatesI had never stayed at a W and I probably never will I had upgraded the room for city views when I checked in they asked me if I wanted to upgrade again for another $40 which I did when we got to the room the toilet had poop stains on it had to call so they could come and clean it that really was gross after that the chair in the room was lopsided and stained the bed was not comfortable and the pillows felt like they had not been changed in years the Ice machine wasn’t working had to go to a different floor just to get some it’s sad to say but it just left a bad taste taste in my mouth when I walked in the hotel the Lobby it was gorgeous and lavish I couldn’t wait to get to my room the staff was great I was so disappointed when I got to the room
