Breakfast was sparse. I arrived in the dining room after staff members had eaten and there was no gravy left for the biscuits. I informed the manager, who apologized and said that there was no more to replace it. A mother with three children arrived after me and they appeared to have difficulty finding enough, too.

Carpets were a bit dirty and the chair in our room probably should be replaced.

Staff was exceptional. Filled both juices,, made fresh coffee, filled the pancake/waffle mix for breakfast. Very much appreciated. Thanks 😊

Give your staff a bucket and mop to clean the hard floors in the rooms. There is NO way you are going to get a floor clean with one lousy swifer pad and this is NOT your housekeepers fault! The food at the Tavern Saturday night was not good at all. My steak bites were dry so they made new ones which were better but still well done vs the medium that I ordered. My onion rings were overdone. My husband got the loaded fry patter and the outer fries were BLACK. He refused the meal. Not sure who was cooking Friday night vs Saturday but you need to replace the Saturday cook sadly.

The bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly in both the hotel and Tavern 94. Overall a good stay and look forward to returning! Friday night our food was amazing in the Tavern. Service was excellent both Friday and Saturday. Our waitress did credit our bill for the bad food on Saturday night.

I think a room in the middle of the building would have been warmer. I had a corner room with a howling wind on a cold night. Heater was going all the time. It did not seem that they were full.

I liked the breakfast once I found the waffle batter. There could have been more options -- muffins, sweet roll.

Not much. The entrances had some outside debris that had blown in with all the coming & going. I believe some was from all the duck & goose hunters there that weekend. The vacuum cleaners could have been used abit more in the hallways, again I believe from the hunters. We were on the 2nd floor, rm 222 to be specific. This all is pretty minor as we would definitely stay Again.

For us all was good. The selection, location, cleanliness.

Lighting was poor(bulbs?), no coffee pot, no nite lite, ice machine requires exit and reentry at another main door. No city map. Bathroom door knob needs attn. In general, the room needs a little General maintenance.

Found on the third day, that pushing down on the outside door handle will allow you to open the door without a key. Do all of them allow that? Poor security. Can lock securely from the inside, but not if no one is in the room. There was a used towel on the bathroom floor when we first entered. There was no cleanup over our 3 nights there: wastebaskets not emptied, our used towels not picked up and replaced. Remote for heater/ac had only one battery, not the 2 that were needed. Set heat to 65 at night, but didn’t go down to that. Kept running, making it too warm. Had to just shut off the heat at night. Poor mattress: one side higher than the other. Needed a warmer/additional blanket which I took from the other bed in the room.

Never tried the breakfast. Price was good.
