Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was spacious and clean. Very modern. Nice bedrooms, bathrooms. The only thing I needed was extra blankets and there weren't any in the room. Everything else was perfect. I would recommend.

United StatesWhile my reservation was clearly for two bedrooms, we were provided a one bedroom. Carol at the front desk was attentive and seemed to do all she could to make the situation better. After trying to reach supervisors and not receiving any response, she moved us to the only suitable apartment, a three bedroom in building two. About 45 minutes after moving our luggage into that apartment, I discovered that the only vent delivering air conditioning to the unit was the one in the master bedroom. The temperature on the other side was a warm 75 degrees. As the thermostat in the far bedroom was set on 62, it was clear that previous tenants and/or housekeeping was already aware of the problem and yet it had not been fixed nor noted in the system. I went back to Carol who, after assisting other customers, offered me a third apartment where I could move while leaving my friend in the second apartment. As it was close to quiet hours, I moved just the minimum items I would need and went upstairs to that room. I was not in one place long enough to note issues with technology or cleanliness but I know my friend had negative feedback on those items. Had it been communicated to me before our arrival, I would have made lodging reservations at a different facility, but after a long day of travel, that wasn’t feasible. I commend Carol on her professionalism and customer care and don’t understand why she appeared to be the only employee. I had been looking forward to comfortable accommodations and a chance to discover the nearby area, but all the back and forth prevented that. I am dissatisfied with paying $200 for an evening of disruption and disappointment. I had high expectations of the Waterwalk brand that proved to be totally unfounded.

Two days in (Monday afternoon) starting at 3 o'clock, a handful of workers apparently got off work and they decided to congregate in the green area in the parking lot. Unfortunately our room faced the parking lot on the third floor and I could hear the music they were blasting in my room. I literally waited until 6pm when I was leaving for dinner to say something to the woman that was working the front desk (music could not be heard at the front desk). Her response was "oh you can hear it with your windows open?" My windows were not open. She then told me quiet time started at 10 pm. I then asked her if this was something that went on each day and she proceeded to tell me "they just got off work (3 hours ago!) blah blah blah. It was apparent she was not going to do anything. I came back at 9:30 and they were still there. I mentioned it to the new desk person and she said she would talk to them. They eventually stopped, but more likely because of the magic "quiet time" We had another day of quiet and then it was staring again (around 2:45 pm) and my husband called down and got the same story about quiet time. Eventually she said we could call the police if we didn't like it (!?!). The front desk staff seem to want to make minimal effort and certainly don't care about the customers. Originally I thought this would be my go place when coming up to Kansas City but no more.
I liked the fact that it is basically an apartment. Staying multiple nights it is so great to have a living room, a kitchen with a dining table, water and dryer. so much more comfortable than staying in a small hotel room.
