Great stay nice hotel.

Only issue I had was with the breakfast. Booking.com indicated a there was a daily voucher for 2 breakfast along with other items. In fact, there was only a voucher for one breakfast which was awkward when there were two of us. I didn’t understand why I had to spend an extra $30 a day for items that were not going to be used. I will say, the breakfast that I ate alone was really nice. I kept the voucher if you want to see their wording.

No microwave on the property.

The location was perfect! Not in the heart of everything but close to Grand Central and that made travel through the city easy. The restaurant was wonderful and staff were always helpful and attentive. My only issue is there was not a microwave on the property. Heating up takeout for a late night snack would have been such a bonus.

Price was expensive and the only way I could shorted the stay was to cancel and rebook (called hotel who said i had to speak to booking.com but booking did nothing. I would have moved hotels but was traveling with a group). This ended up costing MORE than the original price. H

Seemed strange having breakfast in lobby. Not much seating if you wanted to just chill & was very busy, but didn’t take from our stay. Not a dislike, more of an observation.

Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly. Had great view of Chrysler Building up the street & down to water to right, to watch the sun rise. Much appreciated, as was a special visit after 35 years for my husband & first visit for my two daughters. Hotel left a note & wine, cookies & cheese in our room & we were so thankful for this thoughtful gesture. The beds were super comfortable which was welcome after long days sightseeing. Plenty of towels and replaced every evening when we returned. So glad we stayed & wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Waiting for Elevator ride gets very slow during peak hours. Waiting can get >10mins. The room phone is not working . Looked like the cord was pulled out. Phone not throughly clean .some dust settled on it.

Location is in quieter neighborhood in Manhattan. Close to grand central station. Walking distance to city center. Shopping and restaurants nearby. Spacious room. Comfortable bed and pillows.easy check-in and check-out Breakfast is not free.

Bills in bar and food area include service charges however when you get the bill it shows a separate charge for gratuity which is a double tip if your willing to give it

The sheet had a stain, I didn't bother telling the front desk. The room also had a mildew smell

The front desk, in general, was very unhelpful. I understand it was a busy time of year, but there were 3 separate occasions where my party requested something and were rather rudely brushed off. Biggest problem though, was the lack of sheets for the pull out and the fact that they were never brought. I ended up tracking down a cleaning person the next morning, but despite calling the front desk 3 separate times they were never sent up and my friend had to sleep on the pull out with no sheets or blankets. Honestly, I expected more from a Westin.

The location was wonderful. I had a generally good interaction with the concierge and bartenders. It was very clean and well kept.

no microwave in the whole building. Storage was free but was requested a lot of tips.

The cleaning is great and the location is fantastic, like 2 minute walk from the subway station. The bus is super convenient too.

Worst elevator experience ever at a large hotel. They are too small and too few and you have to wait 10-15 minutes for one with any space at all. Not sure how this can be rectified, but be warned. We were given free breakfast cards, but the wait to be seated was long. I have never experienced anything like it. My very pregnant daughter asked for a coffee and an orange juice and was told my the hostess that we only received one drink per breakfast card and when my daughter froze and then just said she didn’t want either, the hostess was rude and walked away and never returned. I went to the small coffee bar in the lobby and to buy her an orange juice instead and the barista there gave it to me for free. I left them a big tip. Other than the elevator and breakfast experience, it was a lovely stay, but we most likely won’t stay here again. With so many options in the city, we will seek out something else next time.

Staff at the front desk was great! Our room was upgraded to one with a lovely view of the city.
