We loved staying here! The property is lovely and exceptionally spotless. Our room (actually a suite) was quaint, warm and cozy, the woods around the inn beautiful, the sound of the stream restful and breakfast every day was superb! We felt pampered. Erin was an fantastic host, friendly and helpful, and her breakfasts were so good! We highly recommend staying here. It's just a very short drive to Cooperstown and a wonderful place to stay--just off the beaten track enough to be truly a getaway.

The shower in the room. The angle of the shower head was a little awkward but no big deal.

Beautiful location! Erin was so accommodating. Breakfast was great! Erin even reduced the stress of going into town during the induction and took us to Cooperstown and picked us up. This was an unexpected service.

I personally would have preferred a later time for breakfast, but the other guests seemed quite satisfied with the time.

Excellent breakfasts, along with plenty of coffee. Beautiful room with exceptional views from off-room porch. The sound of the babbling brook added to the charm of the facility. The numerous TV channels were an added bonus.

Wife & I can’t think of anything we thought negative about our stay.

Breakfasts were made to order & well prepared. Food was definitely fresh with each morning’s first course being fresh fruit. A real plus was Erin’s commitment to accommodate our individual preferences. This daily early welcoming by Innkeeper, chef, Erin did set the stage for an enjoyable, pleasant day.

The only thing I didn't like was.... I wasn't ready to leave

Erin was the greatest host, I felt like I knew her for awhile. She definitely makes you feel comfortable. My son played at Cooperstown had a great time unfortunately they didn't win a game. Erin wanted to make sure if we went out to have adult beverages to call her for a ride she was so stern on not wanting any of her guests to drink and drive. She was AMAZING!!!

There was nothing we didn't like about Whispering Pines. The home is filled with interesting collectables the famliy has acquired from many years of running this B&B and ones their family ran in Florida. Every day I found something new on the walls.

Chris and Erin were exceptional hosts. The location was perfect for our main reason to go to Cooperstown, the Dreams Park, and allowed quick access to the park and Cooperstown for dinner and entertainment. Erin was an excellent resource for food, entertainment, and expectations around town. The room was large, very comfortable, and quiet. We couldn't tell others were in the house when we were in the room. Breakfast was delicious and varied each morning (Erin's apple cinnamon waffles were amazing.) We stayed with outher Dreams Park families while we were there, and enjoyed hearing about their Cooperstown experiences.

The in is nestled in the woods beside a lovely creek. There was a nice balcony with patio furniture where you could si and enjoy the sounds of the rushing water in the creek. The Celebrity suite was very comfortable with a nice living room, separate bedroom and a beautiful recently added spa bathroom. Erin and her family were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome to the area. The inn is rustic and older but once Erin shared the family history of the inn you appreciate the preservation of the family business and all of the artifacts and collections that became a part of the inn. I would recommend Whispering Pines Chalet

As we were prepared because we read about the cell coverage, it wasn't all bad. Verizon network does not work in that area. But, the Chalet had a booster on the first floor that worked like a charm. We were able to send texts and receive calls on our phone downstairs. Our room was on the second floor, and we were able to use the internet easily. No issues at all with the internet on either floor. So we mostly used the internet for messages. Not a big deal.

For us, the Chalet was an oasis from the chaos of the town. We attended a week long baseball tournament which had lengthy rain delays, and we stayed in the Chalet. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was there and honestly couldn't do enough for us. And CLEAN!!! Every day our room was swept and cleaned with clean towels daily. If we are back in that area again, we will stay here without a question. GREAT place! The hostess was a wealth of knowledge about the town and surrounding area. Gave us great tips on what we could do while in Cooperstown. Love Whispering Pines!
