The bath towels could have been a little larger, softer and dry.

This is the cutest little motel! I stayed for two nights while attending a work event. I felt completely safe being alone. Parking is available right in front of your room. Nice neighborhood with a lovely view of the mountains. Only a few min to Ventura beach and downtown. Even the stray cat seemed delightful!

There was no internet available during our stay. A small fridge in the room would be great!

The room was bigger than some other hotel rooms. Both room and bathroom were updated with modern but simple furniture. Hair dryer was available. A good place to come back to for a night or two.

We had no complaints, we loved everything!

Although there are no fridges in the room, this hotel more than made up for that. The rooms are impeccably designed (fantastic bathroom!) with excellent mattresses, linens and pillows. I’m really fussy about cleanliness, and this little hotel did not disappoint! We also found an incredible Mexican restaurant down the street, the Casa de Soria, so I highly recommend this lovely little hotel!

Newly remodeled with a friendly owner on site handling all the details. I stayed at this motel 3 times in the past 5 weeks for a total of 12 nights and it is one of the best lodging experiences I have had. Why? Clean comfortable room with a great bed. Quiet. Dark. The photo shows the window has 2 blinds: a blue blind for privacy and a second blackout blind that covers the whole window.

The room has 2 separate blinds. A blue blind that lets in some light while offering total privacy from parking lot. The black out blind covers the whole window and keeps out light at night. Walk to the Thai restaurant for dinner!

Definitely need a dimmer or separate way of lighting overhead. All on or all off isn't the best. Would like a small refrigerator in the room. Maybe one luggage rack. Temperature in the room was a little tricky to get right, but we were able to figure it out.

Simple Motel with completely remodeled rooms. Very nice and extremely clean! Checking in was easy, and the manager was friendly. The location was close to restaurants and was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Might be nice to have ice machine in office area, and coffee or tea for morning. No doubt that would increase price, though, and this is an affordable overnight stay comparitively.

Clean, comfortable, updated, and quiet motel. Great place for a sleep-and-go. Amenities were limited (no frig or micro or coffee, etc.) But plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, etc. to drive to near by.

Stayed for one night , the place is under new management and it shows; rooms have been refurbished really nicely, beautifully clean, super comfy bed. Easy access to downtown Ventura. Really friendly owners, it’s hard to beat at this price.

Clean, quiet, simple. A wonderful change from your standard hotel-very quiet at night, at most 2 adjoining walls through which I heard almost nothing, park right outside your door with no stairs or elevator, comfortable bed.

Not necessarily a dislike, but no mini fridge remover a little cooler if you need drinks etc and you’re good to go!

Absolutely brilliant motel. From the moment you check in the owner is friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, and has wonderful decor, there is a nice little table, it’s well lit, great closet set up and the bathroom is spacious and the complementary soaps etc are great. It close to great restaurants, breweries etc!
