Breakfast was disappointing. You hand them a form you’ve filled out for your room with the items you’d like, and they give you a paper bag with pancakes, omelets, or a jimmy dean corn dog thing to heat up in your room microwave. The pancakes were actually okay if you don’t heat them for the whole recommended time(not more than a minute!). The beverage choices are water or apple juice. There’s a “fruit cup” that doesn’t deserve further mention. The coffee in the lobby was actually quite good. Some fresh fruit would have been nice, maybe some pastries or granola bars, and skip that stuff in the bag.

This is a very nice smaller hotel, convenient location. The staff are all just about the nicest of any we’ve ever encountered. We were able to check in a little early, and I told them at the desk that our group was traveling in two cars. They said that was fine, the parking lot is quite large for the property size. The hotel was completely full with eclipse visitors(us too!), but it was very quiet at night, the rooms are very noise proof. Our room was spotless, the beds were super comfortable, no noisy fans or heaters. Elevator, stairwells, hallways were all clean, well lit.

The only thing we were a little sad about was that the pool was being renovated but that happens! We will have to stay once the pool reopens!

The staff were amazing! Very friendly and welcoming! The hotel is very pet friendly and gave us a treat bag for our dog at check in! They even gave us a hanger for our door to say pets were in there. The room was huge and very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was yummy and I liked getting to order the night before, they had complimentary coffee, tea and hot cocoa station in the lobby. It felt very luxurious. We loved our stay and would do it again hands down!

The room smelled like wet dog before we got the heat going and there was some sort of fur on the hotel pillows, which we did not use. The toilet seat was very loose. Those are things that should be checked over before you have people staying in those room.s

I liked that the beds were comfortable and we had our own heater in the room. I also liked they had elevators in case we were located on the 2nd floor (we were not).

Breakfast was in a grab & go bag with microwave instructions. If you would have followed the cooking instructions, egg entrees would have totally been overcooked. Tasteless. Go out for breaskfast if you stay here. Few places in town to eat dinner except at the casino, which was totally overpriced.

Better communication between front desk & Housekeeping as the lady from housekeeping came bounding thru my deadbolted door while I sat having a phone call with my son. NO KNOCK might I Add.

Doing breakfast that way was a great idea. We only missed some hot foods like eggs and sausage. The pool was very nice. Having a Burger King and gas station so near was ideal. We were traveling across New York for a family reunion and stop there for the night.

The breakfast was soggy and was supposed to come w Yogurt. It came with canned fruit. I like fruit it's just that what the menu said was a falsehood.

Upon entering the room, the smell of marijuana and cigarettes was overpowering. It made you sick to your stomach. I could barely breathe with my asthma. People were smoking in their rooms non-stop even though there was a sign that said smoking caused a $250 charge. The staff did nothing about it. Our clothes stunk. The room was also very dirty. There was what appeared to be blood on the curtains, heating unit, and bed sheets. There was also some other bodily fluid on the side of the bed. The floor of the shower was not scrubbed. When I told the staff, they promised to clean while we were out. The room was never cleaned in the 3 days we were there. The bed was very uncomfortable. It was lumpy and loud anytime you moved. They obviously don't vacuum either, because there was food under the bed. For 2 days, there was no hot water. It wouldn't even get warm. Again, I told the staff. They couldn't help and made excuses that other people were using it, and they were washing laundry. Want to use the restaurant or pool? Forget it. They've been closed for years. And after the non-cleanliness we experienced in our room, we wouldn't want to use those facilities anyway. When asking for the manager, they said they don't talk to the manager. The 3-11 staff never talk to her, and sometimes she might be there during the day, when they aren't. No one would call her. They said they would pass along my information for her to contact me. I have 0 hope of that happening, so I will be calling every day until I get an answer. The problems we had did not warrant the cost of that room. This is the biggest weekend of the year and they sell out of rooms. We have stayed here in the past when it was under the Holiday Inn name and never had a problem. That was the only reason we stayed there this weekend. However, if Snocross comes back next year, we will pay the extra to stay in the casino. It may be double the money, but it will be worth it.
