The building was old. I think it needs renovation.

The staff was really helpful and result oriented. She tried to make our stay comfortable as the reservation didn’t show up their system and they had to give us a room for other category. She offered compensation which made us happy. Additionally, the hotel was really clean

Some of the outlets did not work and the lights above the length mirror did not work. The bathroom outlet, only one plug worked. Wasn't able to plug in hairdryer and curling iron.

The location was perfect for downtown. Near many quaint cafes and places to eat. It was clean. The room was spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We didn t like to request housekeeping, we were staying for a week its given that the room would need be clean (take a garbage out and the towels<) The Breakfast is so high for what correspond to nones varied

my only issue was the heater. It was cold this weekend so we would set the heat to say 73. It would warm up fine but as soon as it got to temp or slightly above the AC would kick in causing the room to cool back down. We would let the room warm up and turn the system off. not a huge deal but annoying.

Parking can be difficult if they are hosting an event. The main parking lots spots are so narrow people take more than one spot. There is also a parking garage but that fills up with event guests.

The staff members are always so nice and helpful. Perfect spot to watch the Town of Whittier Holiday Parade.

Reservation wasn't as described. The Hotel was overbooked and our room wasn't available. We we traveling for a funeral and the fact we weren't booked it what we reserved was a huge stress and dissatisfer. The Hotel acknowledged they were basically overbooked and do this routinely. We were allowed to move rooms after the weekend when they didn't have the traffic. The Hotel did use bike chains to lock the doors heading outside except for the main entrance. This definitely made it so people not welcome couldn't enter the Hotel but the flip side is if there was a fire you definitely couldn't leave the property due to the chain which was outside the building.

Can't think of anything that wasn't to my liking...it suited my needs great!

Room was large and comfortable. Front desk and cleaning staff were courteous. I used the gym daily and it was great. Definitely would stay their again.

The a/c unit in the room was visibly coming off the wall which made it very loud to use.

The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. We had just come from Hilton Anaheim and the team at the double tree was overall much more welcoming.

Both nights we were unable to find parking at the hotel because they were also holding events there. I ended up dropping off my party and then had to find street parking and walk back to the hotel. I feel there should be reserved parking for hotel guests, I should not have to park off property.

Pillows were small. Housekeeping would come by at end of day which wasn’t very convenient.

Some sort of snafu when I needed to add a night previous to my booked reservation. I specifically asked if it would be the poolside king reserved, it was not. We stayed in sane room both nights but were charged the king poolside rate for the second night which was the original reservation. Other than that, great stay as usual.

Always clean, always the amenities we need. Close to all places we needed to go.
