Indeed a boutique motel, all renovated (especially compared to other motels, this is a luxury one!). Polite staff, great location.

Bathroom floor needed a good mopping but overall the place was clean, tidy, and very pleasing. Love the decorations in the room too!

Excellent accommodations and super friendly staff. The breakfast choices were great and what we selected was delicious. Highly recommend staying here. Nicest place I've stayed at in this area on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Water flow of the shower is on the lower side and shower head fixed on wall, so not convenient for little kid. Desk/table area is a little small and limited if you want to put stuff and have breakfast.

Room was very clean. Bed was not on the soft side which is a great thing. It didn't give me back pain. Bathroom was very clean and tidy too. Breakfast is good. Location is convenient, just next to the GAMA restaurant that we booked.

Clean, comfortable and well laid out. The live edge redwood countertops, straight grain fir trim and furniture made my woodworker heart sing. The included breakfast was also outstanding. THE most excellent Japanese restaurant literally across the parking lot. (Make a reservation)

We were very happy with our stay at this beautiful little hotel. The rooms are beautifully designed with comfortable beds and good linens, very clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are large and also beautifully designed with everything you need, and the breakfast, oh the breakfast! You make your choice when you are checking in and it is delivered to your room at the time you choose. We both loved our choices, my husband had the breakfast sandwich, I chose the oatmeal, and I didn’t regret my choice - who knew porridge could be so tasty and delicious? This little hotel is worth every penny and I would happily stay here again!

Just the location wasn’t great. There really wasn’t any else around. The local market and gas station closed early.

Breakfast was much better than the standard powdered eggs and mystery meat. Made fresh and brought to your room, it was a great way to start the day.

It was directly on the main road, which is not my preference. But it was still not noisy or bothersome. I just prefer accommodations more surrounded by trees.

Jeff was most accommodating to the unusual needs of my journey.

The front desk guy seemed unhappy, but not impolite.

Superccomfortable bed, strong shower , spotlessly clean. Lots of special touches like beautiful hand-hewn wood counters and bedside tables and delicious healthy breakfast options delivered to the room. Lots of car charging stations. Each room is named for a wildflower and the room has pretty photos of that flower. Pt Arena is a sweet little village. There's a wharf with several restaurant options, and a healthy food co-op with a cafe right across the street from the motel.

The motel has lovely, modern rooms with comfortable beds and soft linens. Beautiful woodwork is used in the rooms. Luxury soap and shampoo/comditioner are provided. Breakfast is included in stay and is delivered to door at your chosen time. The breakfast sandwich is exceptional !

Stepping into our room felt like stepping into a spa. The bed is very comfy, the room and bathroom are very clean the decor is simple but calming, a lovely place to be after driving for many hours. On top of that you have a choice of a few healthy options for breakfast and they deliver it to your room. A really great find. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so wonderful . I highly recommend this place.

The power outage - entire area and nearby towns, not specific to the motel.

Comfort, cleanliness, and breakfast. Locally supported establishment. The most comfortable bed ever! The details of this rejuvenated motel are too many to mention. Location was just what we were looking for.

The fan was not working. It wasn't a big deal - we just opened the window. I didn't see an a/c and that made me wonder about summertime heat. Maybe it doesn't get too hot there because of the location.

A kind woman checked us in and recommended dinner at the pier down the street (my son wanted pizza). I didn't even know there was a pier nearby, but we had a great time down at the beach and the pizza was the best I've ever had. Next time I'd like to try the Japanese restaurant next door to the motel. I adored the wildflower-themed rooms and the gorgeous flowers growing on the property. The breakfast was incredible. I had the vegetable tartine and I believe it was all locally sourced. It was 2 slices of fresh sourdough bread with goat cheese and rich red tomato slices topped with fresh basil and balsamic & sliced fruit on the side. The location was perfect for our weekend getaway - explored the Sonoma Coast one day and the Mendocino Coast the second day.

We were on 2nd floor, beautiful weather we could open our windows and room had a ceiling fan. Something you do not see in Florida in hotels.
