How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

This hotel was built in 2019 according to the receptionist. It is modern and was very orderly and clean. From the room to the complimentary breakfast, all was exceptional, as was the price.

Comfortable and nice, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast options were better than in some other places we've stayed. Quiet location, which is great for us, and enjoyable.

I didn't like having to pay an extra $50 for a pet! If I had known I would have booked a different hotel that doesn't charge. The eggs on the buffet were not very good and the bacon was under cooked.
The room was nice! Loved the walk in shower! The bed was comfortable. Nice variety of food at breakfast. The staff was friendly. The common areas were clean and comfortable.

We stayed at this hotel because my sons high school team was playing the local school. We were happy they were dog friendly. The breakfast was great with a large selection. But most importantly it was very clean.

The location. The hotel itself is like an oasis in a desert of grimy and unsavory looking buildings. The hotel is fenced with a prison like chain link with inserts to obscure the questionable looking run down hotel behind it. I didn't feel safe parking my car in the back or even walking my dog. That being said, it is still a very nice hotel but the surroundings are unfortunate.
The staff was exceptionally helpful, polite and helpful. The hotel was clean and fresh. It is newer so everything is still new and contemporary. This is my second time staying here and it was a welcome respite from my 11 drive.

Breakfast wasn't that great. Omelets were good, but everything else left much to be desired. There weren't many options either.
Facility was clean and up to date. I really appreciate the microwave and fridge in the room.

My first visit was met with an incredibly clean room. On the second visit, there was black mildew/mold in the shower.
This was my second stay in this hotel. The decor was great and it was very comfortable.

Honestly, everything was great! The room was bigger than I was expecting. I would have preferred a smaller room if it had been a bit cheaper, but the extra space was kind of nice!
The staff were wonderful, room was clean and comfortable, and even though we were somewhat close to the highway, the room was extremely quiet. Staff let me keep my bike in an extra room by the front desk so I didn't have to struggle with it in the room. Also, I had to backtrack a bit the next day, and the staff let me check out late and were kind and considerate.

The bathroom sink counter was too tall for my wife. The bathroom sink faucet was strangely set back too far for convenient use. That's really all.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower had great pressure & the bathroom was spacious. The wifi was good and the desk setup was convenient. The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do in the area. The breakfast had a nice selection for both hot and cold foods & the coffee was good! The AC was great. We will be back!

Breakfast room cramped & hard to move a bunch of people through. Need another waffle maker as it was holding people in one spot & not able to get around.
First morning breakfast was great. Stocked very well. Second morning, not so good-out of Basics like muffins, cereal.

The “comfortable”chair in the sitting area, was anything but comfortable. The TV was not user friendly . The faucet in the bathroom was not installed correctly as the faucet was too far back and not easy to use. Getting into and out of the property was very difficult as the roads are not very safe.
The staff were great.
