How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Some staff was a bit ignorant. It is annoying reception staff saying “you cant have it cause breakfast is about to end” when you are just asking for a fork and there are still 5 minutes to time.
Very good location. It was in the center of every spot we wanted to go and see. Nice room, clean and comfortable.

There were little things that just made the place seem less than special. I arrived at 1:00 pm. Instead of looking to see if my room was available, the front desk clerk just said: "checkin is at 3:00. Come back at 2:30 or 3." No big deal, and completely understandable, but often a room is available if you arrive after noon. Also, breakfast was included, but the hot food station was empty when I was down there at 8am. The attendant came out with some more eggs and sausage, but only a small amount that wasn't nearly enough for the people who were waiting. Also, they had a nice laundry room for the guests, but the cost of a load plus detergent was $10. This may not sound like much, but in most chain hotels you can do a load in the washer and dryer for $5 or less. The various things just added up to an impression of lower quality service.
I slept well here. The room and lobby were clean and comfortable. The front desk clerk gave me the phone number for the local bus service and called to make sure he'd given me the correct change. The price was better than many of the other hotels in the area, though they were all higher because of the holiday weekend.

We asked for housekeeping and didn't get it. We went downstairs for clan towels and toilet paper. We don't mind reusing towels but there was no good place to hang them. The next day we requested housekeeping and got it.

Please think about the music being played. Heard alot of vulger music with the N word in it. Totally unacceptable.

The shower head was broken and no hot water The door into the pool was extremely difficult to open- also seemed broken The dark colored blanket at the end of the beds seemed unclean

I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, standard continental breakfast. We got a room with a balcony and that was nice when the weather was good. The air conditioning didn't work in our room and they switched us to the room next door very quickly. The staff was very helpful.

The toilet in the pool area was broken and the public bathrooms on the first floor were without soap.
I liked the large shower and bathroom. Kids liked the pool and breakfast.

Wish we had a room with better views, and hope they can provide atleast one water bottle in the room. They had water available at the front desk for 3$ a bottle.
Conveniently located near to the tourist attractions, and were able to reach all the near goto places in less than 10min. There are good number of stores and food places nearby, bringing in great value for the stay.

I would've liked more travel/tour suggestions from the Front Desk.
New hotel, modern and located near Horseshoe Bend. It included breakfast which was good and had variety. There's a Denny's right next and it was convenient after a long travel day.
