How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Room was extremely smell bad because of airlessness and that can make you sick after a week. There is no window in the room so if you dont keep the door open the air in the room can get you sick easily. And room was in ground floor and safety lock was broken so someone can break in to room easily. Which i assumed they tried thats why lock was broken.
Location is close to places in Design District

The bed mattress, you could feel the springs. They need to update mattresses,even if there is a price increase to cover the invastment.

Due to the location along a busy road it gets a bit noisy, cars and motorbikes revving, police, ambulance and firetrucks sirens. But that wasn’t really a problem for us, though it might be for other guests.
The location is perfect, the bed was big and comfortable. The AC and TV worked properly.

I was unable to watch TV. I had problem making connection. I did not notice a phone in the room so call anyone if I need assistance. But I had my iPad and boom box with me. So, not too much of a downer.
The location was exceptional. There were varied choices for eating that one could walk or drive to. The outside seating area was awesome. All in all, I enjoyed my stay, and I would use the facility again.

No elevator for the second floor. Wifi was not really available in the second floor room that I stayed in.
Clean, large size room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location for restaurants and grocery stores.

The room didn’t have wifi they are aware of that however haven’t done anything to fix it, they asked for a 100usd as deposit (non sense)

Rates drastically change everyday on a "scale" that makes no sense. No extended stay rates offered and no offers/deals made by hotel.
Staff & Housekeeping were hands-down amazing!!!! Room was comfortable & spacious. Location was perfect- close to everything.

Rates for stay changed everyday, which makes no sense. No options available for extended stay offered.
Staff was amazing and very accommodating-no complaints!!! Location, etc. Was perfect. Great size room with high level of privacy.

I didn't like that it didn't have cable, enough space for the eating area, nor did we like the shower.
The staff also said that it was clean and smelled great.

No face cloths. Only one overhead light. Only one table lamp. Although I rated the cleanliness 3 out of 4, the aroma of cleaning products was nearly overwhelming. There was a dearth of places to charge electronics. There was limited availability of television options.
The room is big. The bed is comfortable.

All good.
Basic, and inexpensive, all fine and as expected. No frills, but that's okay. Nearby stores and fast food outlets. Free parking, too, which was handy.

Room had a funny smell like mould with bleach over the top.
Location was easy to get around without staying at Miami Beach.

Some road noise.
Quick and easy check in. Basic rooms but clean and well maintained. Good value if you want a clean, functional hotel room near to town.

It would help if additional lights are provided to lighten up the room a bit.
The room was clean. The hotel is like an upgraded and quality motel. The staff at the front desk were all kind and accommodating. The hotel is very near a shopping (TJ Maxx, Target, Marshalls, Trader Joes) and dining (lots of them) area. It is right along a very busy street and surprisingly, we didnt hear the sound of the motor vehicles. The hotel provided parking too.

First room was not good at all. To much light and shower water get all the way in other side of the bathoom. Second room was much better however bedsheets are old and rough. Pillow is too high. However we it was much better then the first room.
Staff is very nice and helpful. Was always ready help
