Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe room was old, not renovated as shown online. What you see online is not what you will get when you arrive to the hotel. The side tables rocked and were old. The handles and faucets were loose and not adhered properly to the walls and sinks . The microwave is old and raggedy. There's a fresh prince table in the room which was the only highlight of the decor. The location is the only bonus as you're closer to the highways and entertainment in Miami. Only reserve if you need somewhere to sleep for a night or two.

United StatesIn all honesty, the room did not look as advertised. Mismatched furniture and not in the best shape. Dining table was absent though advertised. Balcony absent though advertised. (eternal corridor, not a feature)
Location is pretty good. Didn't have breakfast (choice, don't know about availability) Nice, courteous treatment from staff. Spa bath was a plus!

United StatesThe room looked nothing like the photos on booking. Tv did not have no cable only basic channels. People in house arrest coming out rooms. Looks like some people live there. Room felt dirty had to go get sheets to lay on b/c I did not want to lay on there stuff. Room had moisture in it so floor was always wet. If I would of got my money back for the disappointment I would of left. But since my bf didn’t want me to be mad we tried to make the best of it. Won’t be staying there again.
When I arrived it looked like a motel the name was not even oyo. Office had a no vacancy sign looked like no one was in there. I had to call to make sure I was in the right spot. Then the guy came to the window. Wouldn’t recommend it. Was going to take photos but was to disappointed to even take photos birthday was ruined with this stay.

United StatesIn the online photos it’s perceived as a very very nice clean room… Upon arriving the property was dirty the room looked nothing like the photos there was a dirty towel on the floor once we opened the door… Instantly smelled like mold and mildew… there was hair on the floor and in the spa tub. There was a chair in the room that was absolutely disgusting stained and smelled… There was no door in the room like pictured to give privacy in the bathroom. headboard and foot board of bed was also nasty and disgusting with stains and holes… The walls also looked like they have been through a war with minor holes, markings, & stains… It was horrible… There was dirt around the perimeter of the room like it was never cleaned. Spoke to staff in the morning cause we arrived late she offered to have housekeeping clean it again and let us decide if we wanted to stay or not and I explained to her that we will just go. The photos online were very misleading and the gentleman that checked us in was only worried about how we were paying for the stay not anything else… So she gave us a refund for the remaining 3 nights and only charged us over all for the one night stay. I personally would not recommend this property to anyone

JamaicaOdor in room was overwhelming, possibly mold? Also the unit was not clean, there were pests in room. Additionally, there were no sheets on the bed. Bed was hard and old and pillows were flat and over used, requires replacement on more regular basis. Cost of room nearly $200 and I would never of selected it had I known this was the way room would be, it didn't live up to posting on booking.com. Also, listing stated they have airport shuttle service however they did not, I wouldn't of booked it had I known that so I ended up using Uber to get to airport.
Location is very close to airport. Check in staff was kind and welcoming upon check in.

United StatesThe spa tub wasnt clean no hot water for the tub i paid $169 & it wasn’t worth the room . There ova charging for that type of room . The two chairs was stan almost everything was rusty and the tv had bad connection…it was the worst 😫😩 i just want to tell keep the money & check to something worth my money but i paid that much I didn’t wanna lose $169 & pay for something else so i just stayed
