Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff was friendly, although I believe that the fourth floors may impact hot water availability; it was luke alarm. Also no cold, running water in the kitchen. Beyond that the beds are comfortable.

It took too long to be attended, hallways smell like food and the location is not good at all. Also the lobby is super small only one person fits at a time (I had to wait outside). Beds were okay, room was okay overall I would only recommend for a quick one night stay. If you need a hotel for a couple of days this is not a good option.

United StatesThere was somebody walking around the hallways at night making it impossible to sleep. There were sounds of screaming children and or woman. It was not conducive to sleeping. Housekeeping didn’t clean my room not sure why. I can hear every footstep from every room in the building it seems like. Didn’t get much sleep. The air quality in the room was very poor. Seemed moldy. Which is surprising considering that everyone knows a little bit more about air quality now because of COVID. The wall unit air conditioner was set at 60 but it felt like 75 in the room the whole time. Would I be going back? What do you think?
The one staff that I met on arrival was very pleasant. Forgot his name. Big black guy. He was friendly.

United StatesI made it feel a bit like home after walking in the room and not be completely satisfied or comfortable. Too many unauthorized people coming in and out of the building.. trying to stay in rooms. Asking for the key once you are about to checkout. Place can be kept cleaner.. too loud..
I loved that the property has a very well protected system, meaning you need a card to enter the building..

Our room wasn’t clean so they had to give us another room even though we had a very late check in time (9 pm) It wasn’t the $130 I paid for one night Thin pillows extra thin comforter and one sheet I was freezing Shower head sucked as well as the drainage in the tub

United StatesI don't think there was anything we didn't like. I am just trying to fill the 3 sentence rule. our over all experience was like no other place we have been to 10/10 would be back again if I am in Austin.
we absolutely loved the newly renovated room they allowed us to stay in. the news layout is wonderful the desk tv stand and connecting closet is brilliant. the room has kitchen in it and they will have pots pans plates for the rooms at a extra fee but is reasonable.
