Recommend staying at back of building away from main street which could be noisy. We were in the back in room 1 which was fine. Air conditioner was small for the size of the room with roller blind lowering in front of AC so it got stuffy.

Great breakfasts. Wonderful staff. Paola and her team were terrific. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Access to excellent gym and spa facilities. Convenient to shops and restaurants. Close to walks to river and through vineyards.

Overall it is a really great property. No issues at all and very happy with our choice. There is a small trade off with a property which is in the heart of the town of St. Helena... you walk out and there are all the shops and restaurants. It's a quaint and beautiful downtown and ideal for most people. The only thing it is lacking is open outdoor space. I like to have a cigar in the evenings or sit outside with my own bottle of wine and Wydown isn't the place for that. That said it has a well appointed and ample lobby which is very comfortable if you want to get out of your room but stay on property.

Lovely boutique hotel. Spacious bright room. Fantastically friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast and coffee/tea/water and fruit and cookies available throughout the day. Large comfortable lounge area in lobby to relax in. Recommend highly.

Room was a bit outdated. Sunlight gets into the room early morning. The street right under ao window was under repair from 9 pm to 2 am (not a hotel’s fault, but annoying).

Saw 1 bug in the bathroom but never saw another afterwards. It would be nice to know the pool isn’t on the property… not a big deal but I assumed the pool was at our location. Also, my girlfriend would have loved having access to a scale (to weigh her luggage).

Breakfast was adequate. Same menu for 3 days. More coffee types could have been on offer ie: espresso, cappuccino.

There is nothing you can fault about then hotel. Great location, walking distance to the bars & restaurants (Market & Farmstead) and excellent pickup point for the vineyard tours. I was told they are going to update the rooms soon, even though I don't think they need it.

This hotel is in the middle of downtown St. Helena. The lobby is large and stylish and so are the rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff with good recommendations. Fresh baked choco chip cookies each day made the place always smell good. Breakfast did not have a lot of choice--mainly quiche, yoghurt, flat muffins from a nearby bakery (which are better than they appear), coffee/tea. Parking right behind the hotel.

the hotel is super beautiful, only 12 rooms! the service is exceptional and the breakfast buffet is so cute. my only suggestion that it could be self service for coffee/tea at least. you also get access to the Health Valley Spa centre, which is only 4 blocks away and has a huge pool! the hotel is next to Safeway where you can purchase very good value wines!!!

It is overall pricey for what you get.

The location is absolutely perfect! You are located directly in the town. Breakfast was delicious. I absolutely loved staying in Saint Helena over Napa. Great little town and so many delicious restaurants and wineries close by.
