The location was great, guest services were friendly. The food options were great. My hubby took me here for my birthday. It was enjoyable

The only restaurant on property was okay but not amazing.

The overall experience was amazing! Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast and ended up being better than I expected. They had bagels, cream cheese, smoked salmon, coffee, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereal. Nothing fancy but it served it purpose. The grounds were gorgeous and the available activities were great. We enjoyed the pool, sauna, kayaks, boat cruise, bocce ball, and lazing spots and everything was above expectations. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were cozy and clean.

The restaurant left something to be desired.

The location was very serene and relaxing. We really enjoyed being able to lounge on the grounds without much disturbance or noise. The breakfast was modest with nice ingredients. The rooms were comfortable if a but small.

Two things were a bit iffy for us. 1) Our room was on the ground floor and, once we got some neighbors upstairs (right above us), their thumping, running and screaming (there were lots of kids) became very frustrating (walls felt like paper-thin), and 2) the property WiFi was pretty bad (unfortunately, cell service - T-Mobile for me - was also basically zero in the area which, of course, had nothing to do with Wylder but it made it challenging to stay connected and make calls).

The property grounds are very pretty with greens, piers and dockside areas, lawn chairs and fire pits to sit by and watch the water. One of my favorites was their wood-burning cute little sauna, just awesome! The rooms were very clean and I felt I had all I needed for a short trip. I loved their use of in-room iPads for all the logistics (hotel info, restaurants, maps etc.). The staff were so nice and helpful. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!

Slight smell in room (almost like standing water), breakfast offered was very small, property floods when it rains. Have to walk through mud, soggy ground after rain to get around property, to water, or play lawn games, no coffee pot in room, internet was terrible (but expected), no laundry service

Fantastic view, peaceful, offers water boats, sauna, clean room, balcony with sitting area by bungalows, staff and people in community are very nice, has a pool, has an outdoor crab shack, has open firepits and outdoor heaters

I think all of the bungalo bathrooms should be updated. For $700 a night my parents bathroom with the sink in the room was bad. I think you should have a few more firepits and chairs. Families tend to take up a fire pit leaving some without it.

The firepits at night/ the heated pool/the fruit water at the pool/ the games and boats /the landscaping was spectacular/ the coffee was delicious

staff's knowledge of starting the sauna. tried 3 times to start a working fire,but only got smoke. unable to take sauna. unable to speak to a manager. no complimentary coffee or lite far in Am.no sunset cruise on Wed/thru

bed was comfortable- crabs and chicken wings were good- the outside atmosphere was nice

Two rooms were absolutely unclean with mildew smell while one room's bed had urine smell. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Air-conditioning was loud and did not get rid of humidity in room so clothes, papers etc were so damp. Bathrooms too small to move around in. They offered second room and although had no urine smell similar problems existed! Shrimp tasted like a chemical and salad was wilted and not as described on menu. Food was overpriced and not good! T.v. was difficult to use with really old networks and out of date free shows!

Room small (was it even a queen sized bed?) with no bedside tables. Shower was a boat shower. I could hardly lift my arms (and I am petite) to shave my arms pits and thought how thankful I was that I shaved my legs before I left for the weekend. I don’t think leg shaving would be possible for anyone. We could hardly get the door open to the shower. I think it was 24 x 24” basin. I wouldn’t have minded for a hotel that was $200 a night but with all the taxes we paid over $400. Can I get some curtains that reach the floor and at least one bedside table for $400 a night? And perhaps one shelf the tiny bathroom would have made it feel less inconvenient.

Gorgeous views and maritime vistas. Beautiful outdoor spaces. Sauna with no additional charge. Chic pool, modern and heated. Perfect location.
