It was a nightmare to pay for my stay, as my first virtual card wasn't accepting the charges and I had to go to the front desk several days to try and settke it. Fortunately the Front Desk agent - Mary Jo - helped me figure out the problem.

Cleaning service didn't come on the day we initially requested, the pool was too cold. And the worse personal relations from the asian male who works at front desk that seems to have be very miserable at work

We weren't expecting to have to pay gratuity for a free breakfast!! Property was a bit isolated and quite a long way from downtown Chicago and public transport. Spent a lot of money on Ubers

The only complaint was when we checked in 2 of us. there were only 3 towels. Those towels were great. I had to ask 2 times for more towels. finally on Sunday I met the cleaning lady and she gave 3 towels and 4 facecloths to make it through the final 2 days. I was like of surprised about that and the quality was not the same as the first day towels.

The location was great, close to my family. Very clean. The reception staff was excellent. We ate breakfast there. Great food choices. Very tasteful. The staff was excellent.

The indoor pool was closed and that is the only reason we had picked this hotel . Make sure you call to see if it's working Before your stay.

Pool was very cold. As well as the area its self, a guy took temp with his apple watch and it was 65.8° not the 81° they claimed. Old lady with cane never answered the front desk phone. Asked for extra pillows every night and didn't get them until our last night of stay. On the second night kids were running around knocking on room doors until 2a.m. No security there.

Breakfast was excellent. Morning staff was very sweet. Especially one, "you know who you are!" Was clean and mostly quiet.

The breakfast is very good and tasty. Every day we have bacon available in addition to the delicious cupcakes that the kitchen team prepares every day. They prepare fried eggs and stuffed omelets according to the guest's taste.

The bar, which had a sign stating that it was open every day, was closed on the Saturday night we wheeler there, and the outdoor seating areas could used some sprucing up. They were a bit neglected feeling and glum. The exterior of the hotel also could use some sprucing up. Finally, the price - $200/night - was a high, given the location and lack of the amenities/facilities mentioned. However, the pool seemed nice.

The room was very clean and well appointed although the hallways could use some updating. It's a bit more isolated so expect a short drive to groceries, restaurants, etc.

The pool and weight room were great. Updated equipment in the fitness room and the pool was immaculate. The breakfast was out of this world and there was even a staff member who was making omelets to order.
