Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe View restaurant was not good at all. The service terrible and food even worse however it was late and we were traveling with our 4 year old. My salmon was the worse piece of fish I ever ordered and it had a glob of barbecue sauce on top. The description was seared salmon with a peach barbecue glaze, vegetable, and mashed potato. Everything was also cool on my plate. For my son I ordered a well done kids cheeseburger, fries, and chocolate milk. The burger was over chared I had to give him pieces that were edible. His food was also cool. Our waitress did not know where to get a chocolate milk and it took her at least 30 minutes to find one. My husband ordered wings and loaded waffle fries. He got plain waffle fries. You are probably wondering why we just did not walk out…but we were starving and had drove almost 4 hours to our hotel. We tried to make the most of it and not complain. We even decided to order dessert which was my last straw. We ordered the stickies which is supposed to be a happy valley tradition….we got in a small bowl charred beyond repair literally 2 pieces of bread with caramel sauce and no ice cream our waitress came back and I said there is no vanilla ice cream and we cannot eat this it is burnt. She offered chocolate ice cream because there was no vanilla, i then said I am sorry we do not want this as it is burnt. So she took it back and brought the check. The check was incorrect they charged us 5 dollars for the stickies and took 2 dollars off due to no ice cream. They charged us an extra dollar for our son’s dinner, and charged us for loaded waffle fries. I explained to my waitress that we refused the dessert because it was not edible. She then said the manager will not refund us just because we did not want it. I told her to please bring the manager out to reconcile this bill as I will refuse the incorrect charges. She fixed it and we left. I hope this restaurant does not continue service like this.
