Dated rooms, air conditioning made noise, old! Bedding was light and pillows were all to hard or full.

The View restaurant was not good at all. The service terrible and food even worse however it was late and we were traveling with our 4 year old. My salmon was the worse piece of fish I ever ordered and it had a glob of barbecue sauce on top. The description was seared salmon with a peach barbecue glaze, vegetable, and mashed potato. Everything was also cool on my plate. For my son I ordered a well done kids cheeseburger, fries, and chocolate milk. The burger was over chared I had to give him pieces that were edible. His food was also cool. Our waitress did not know where to get a chocolate milk and it took her at least 30 minutes to find one. My husband ordered wings and loaded waffle fries. He got plain waffle fries. You are probably wondering why we just did not walk out…but we were starving and had drove almost 4 hours to our hotel. We tried to make the most of it and not complain. We even decided to order dessert which was my last straw. We ordered the stickies which is supposed to be a happy valley tradition….we got in a small bowl charred beyond repair literally 2 pieces of bread with caramel sauce and no ice cream our waitress came back and I said there is no vanilla ice cream and we cannot eat this it is burnt. She offered chocolate ice cream because there was no vanilla, i then said I am sorry we do not want this as it is burnt. So she took it back and brought the check. The check was incorrect they charged us 5 dollars for the stickies and took 2 dollars off due to no ice cream. They charged us an extra dollar for our son’s dinner, and charged us for loaded waffle fries. I explained to my waitress that we refused the dessert because it was not edible. She then said the manager will not refund us just because we did not want it. I told her to please bring the manager out to reconcile this bill as I will refuse the incorrect charges. She fixed it and we left. I hope this restaurant does not continue service like this.

it was very nice and clean. the staff was very friendly, and always made sure to ask if we needed anything. it was very lovely and the next time i stay in state college i will definitely pick this hotel again. :)

Rooms are serviced every 2 days unless you call to ask them to service you every day. We didn’t have enough towels for both days so we had to ask for more. Not a huge deal though.

Very clean. Decent complimentary breakfast in the morning. Beds were comfortable. Proximity to Penn state campus.

The only issue was the beds. The mattress was hard, and very uncomfortable to sleep in.

When i arrived i thought he was working to check me in never introducted himself than said to me will i guess ill sign back in since i was leaving . I never asked him to due this all he had to say when i came in was sorry im leave he can help you instead of being rude i understand when your done working instead i apologized to him for sign back in like it my fault

No microwave in room although there is one in 2nd floor area to use. Just didnt want to heat up food then take in elevator back to my room. Also being Thon weekend the prices were really high

Beds super comfy like laying on a cloud. Loved that they are pet friendly. The breakfast included is best I have ever had with coffee & bagel bar, fresh fruit & juice bar, eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, blueberry pancakes, french toast, oatmeal bar w toppings, waffle stations, yogurt . Great location only 10 mins from PSU

Rooms have no carpeting and you can hear everything from other rooms, slamming doors from hallway people dropping things upstairs. A bit sterile feeling - clean but not comfy.

Beautiful setting with a view of Tussy and Nittany mountains. Great full breakfast buffet offered for free!
