Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

United StatesDecor in the condos is getting dated. Also was a little frustrating that I needed to fix the cable myself (broken pin setting); reinstall a sink aerator in the bathroom and climb on a chair placed on top of the dining room table to adjust the fan speed setting..... There was also a noticeable odor from the furniture in the unit we stayed in (unit #2 - no pun intended :))
Restaurant (JB's) at the sister facility (Bay Voyage) is EXCEPTIONAL in terms of service, quality, value and overall experience. Club Wyndham condos are spacious and quiet.

Great space with full amenities. We liked the comfortable beds! We liked the extra little touches of soap, mouthwash, coffee, dishwasher soap and washing machine soap.

United StatesI used to love visiting Newport Overlook, and my family has been going there for over 15 years. However, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed. I made a reservation for Presidents' Day weekend back in December, eager to spend four nights and five days with my family. Given a previous mishap with Helena, the general manager, I double-checked our reservation on the Tuesday and Friday before our arrival, and everything seemed fine. I even called on Friday at 6:03 pm to confirm once more. However, upon our arrival after a day of travel to Jamestown, we were shocked to find out that our reservation had been canceled. According to Booking.com, someone from reservations at Extra Holidays had called the night before to cancel, citing overbooking. It's frustrating that despite our efforts to confirm, no one bothered to inform us of the cancellation. We had our car packed and were eagerly anticipating a weekend of family time with nieces and nephews, only to be left stranded with no alternative accommodations available in the area. To add insult to injury, it's suspicious that my reservation was canceled immediately after speaking with Helena on Friday. This entire experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I have no intention of ever returning to Newport Overlook. It's a shame that such negligence and lack of communication ruined what was supposed to be a cherished family gathering.
