Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThe hostel is very comfortable with nice staff. Rooms are well equipped with bathrooms outside of it. Modern facilities, close to the airport. For the price you pay for it’s a very good option, especially with a 24/24 frontdesk.

BulgariaSound isolation is none but that's the only downside. It is too far away from any important location. Even for the bus station you have to do few stops. The only easily accessible place is the Airport.
The sweetest staff I ever encountered, they're always smiling, speaking well Turkish, trying to help with everything they can. They're like in mother and father level <3. The place is nice, it was the cheapest private room in all Tashkent when I was there. There is AC, free water, cafee, tea etc. By the way, when I returned to Almaty I noticed the room key is still on me, I forgot to return it and you forgot to ask for it :( I'm sorry.

ChinaThe location is not accurate and I couldn’t find it after taking a taxi several times.
Although the room is small, other aspects are 100 points! There are free washing machines, free microwaves, free water dispensers, and the shared bathrooms are also very clean. The employees are also very friendly and very nice! The mattress is also very comfortable! Really awesome! Everyone rush!

UzbekistanI did not stay at hostel, I was upgraded to the hotel 300m up the road, after Bishkek and long bus trip I really needed this sound proof room with extra hard bed. For 12USD a night just exceptional.

BelgiumIssues with communicating with staff as they only spoke Russian (check our other review for more details). Location wasn't great if you want to do something around the nearby area (airport of Tashkent is not too far however).
Stay in general was fine (check our other review for more details).

BelgiumCommunication with the staff was really difficult due to them only speaking Russian (had to rely on using translation application) on arrival at 12:30 AM and during the rest of our stay. Would be good if there was an improvement on this point: English speaking staff. Person at reception wanted to see ALL our registration cards from our previous stays in Uzbekistan after check in & took pictures of them (these were the registration cards of the past 3 weeks exactly). Never happened at any other place we stayed at.
Our stay in general was fine, the room was clean (pillows & bedsheets) and the beds were comfortable. There was a water cooker in the room, tea bags and cups and some plates (also a trash can) + 2 chairs and a table, nightstand. The room was spacious.

United StatesThere's always that one guy that ruins it, and unfortunately for all six days I was there, there were extremely loud guests next to me, shouting and playing very loud movies and banging things around at 2am. Without them there, I would have actually been able to sleep. Oh, well. Just don't be like those guys!
Where else in Tashkent can you get a private room for the same price as a hostel bed? Amazing value, especially when you consider that it's like a five minute walk to the brand new metro station that just opened (Bekat 8). You can get anywhere in the city, and there's a huge Korzinka market nearby. Plenty of bus stops, too. The kitchen seemed well equipped, but I didn't use it for more than hot water. A kettle and TV in the room, and there is AC, but it's ventilation and not one you are able to control manually, so it was a little hotter than I would have liked. But not terrible. Staff is really lovely, especially the lady that works during the daytime. She's so cute and helpful! I loved her. (also, there is a washing machine you can use for free, though I did not partake.)
