The terrace bar could use some improvements regarding personnel and snacks. Unimaginative breakfasts full of pastry but lacking healthy choices.

Superb location right in the heart of old Khiva. Never seen a hotel cleaner than this - including all the areas of it!!! The pictures do not give its justice - in fact the hotel looks way better.

The room was a bit dusty and the power sockets were weirdly placed - none near the kettle, so I had to move it. Also, no water bottles were provided and I wished for more variety in the breakfast. The Wi-fi was quite bad esp in the evening - please work on improving the signal. All in all, I'd say it's quite nice but overpriced a little for Uzbekistan.

A superb location right in the old town, next to all the sights. Spent some chill time on the rooftop terrace looking over the mosques and madrasas, drinking coffee and enjoying the sun. The room was quite large and even had a bathtub, the bed were comfy, and the staff was super nice and helpful.

They probably need more double beds for couples. I booked two single beds because there was no availability of doubles.

Inside the walled city so everything was easily accessible. Staff were friendly, breakfast was lovely, rooms were comfortable. Laundry was cheap.

Breakfast is not great…and they should not charge any money for the bicycles they rent. They are not in great conditions. But that is a minor thing. I would recommend going.

This is probably best hotel in Khiva. The location is just perfect. It has a great rooftop if you want a drink in the late afternoon.

The location of the Arkanchi Hotel is just perfect. The views from the second floor are amazing. I am sure you could enjoy the views when it is not freezing (when I visited, the temperature was -18C). The staff are friendly. They let me check in early. The rooms are neat, clean, and spacious. The breakfast spread was delicious and abundant.

The running hot water was coming out brown for some reason which was worrying. Although it could have been just the cold, me and my fiancee suspect that we catched some kind of bacterial disease from there.

This hotel has to have the best location in all of Khiva, to walk to all the sights.....and the view out of our window....wow what an amazing place! Make sure you climb up to the terrace....worth the stair climb! Comfortable bed, excellent wifi, good shower, some may have problems with climbing into a high bath though. Breakfast was traditional with instant coffee that was actually quite nice and Bilol the attendant @ breakfast was very good. Water was readily available from dispensers on each floor, which was much appreciated. Stairs only to upper floor but staff were very helpful with our luggage, thank you :)

For a 3 star it’s very good. Tv didn’t work but that’s pretty minor as it’s not what we came for.

What a location!!!!!!!! You open your window and have a view of the famous buildings. Rooms are huge with a separate living room Staff very friendly and helpful Tip. If you arrive in Urgench airport get your taxi organised by the hotel. Far cheaper than a taxi for the 35 km ride

Peculiar smell in the washroom, probably due to old drainage system of Khiva.

Great Location, it is inside Icha Kala. They arranged for our transfer to Bukhara via Khorzem Fortresses. Our driver/guide Adil was very knowledgeable and we had a great journey with him.

Breakfast could be better if hot food was kept warm and you didnt have to pay extra for a capuccino (unlike all other hotels) Have breakfast before a group or you may find little left.

Large gap under door meant of lot of corridor noise, particularly in the morning when groups were exiting early. More of a group hotel than we had imagined. Roof terrace had a great view but wasn't really an integral part of the building - you get to it via an exterior spiral fire staircase from the ground floor, slightly awkward if anxious about heights. No food served up there whilst we stayed in October, so photos a bit misleading as we had hoped to take breakfast on the terrace. Breakfast was decent but the single staff member on duty was willing but overwhelmed by need for replenishment. There was a half-terrace option by the breakfast room for a bit of a view.

Great position in the old town. Loved the dark wood floors of room, very calming and elegant. Good sized room. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Great views from terrace.

The bed was not the most comfortable. The sheet didn't really fit to the mattress so was always coming loose, and didn't sleep very well.
