There was some construction going on next to the hotel. The staff was very apologetic and the work stopped around 4pm, so it wasn't a deal breaker for us.

The bed at this hotel was so comfortable. But other than that the staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a decent choice of food and it was located very close to everything in the city.

The property felt more 3 star than 4 star. Little things like filthy carpets in hallways, rooms with no reading lights by the beds. There was a huge amount of flies surrounding the breakfast which had no covers on making it feel very unhygienic. All little things which could be fixed

Upon arrival, the staff and even the boss himself welcomed me warmly. He then explained me what I should visit during my stay in Hanoi. The staff was super friendly, constantly trying with the greatest efforts to make my stay as comfortable as possible. As I wanted to book a full day tour to Ninh Binh, the boss of the hotel dedicated some of his time to consult me on the different options and helped me finding the most suitable one for me. Apart from this service, they sent me a lot of recommendations for restaurants and bars I should try. Breakfast was really delicious and a great offer from fruits and noodles to western style breakfast as toast, white bread and sweet baked stuff.

The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay - this made our experience unforgettable! The hotel was perfectly located in Hanoi and within walking distance to all the main spots. It is also really nicely decorated and breakfast was delicious! Some of the reviews said that you can hear a lot of loud noise from a nearby club, but our room was on the 7th floor and we didn’t have any problems.

- Breakfast options were very limited - bread was available but not ham or cheese (to be precise one of the days there was ham) - 3% additional fee for card payment was not mentioned on booking.com (one would have expected to pay the amount noted on their reservation or have it made clear to them in advance that they'd be paying more if they paid by card) - Although I appreciate the good intentions, I felt pestered to either give good feedback or not to give feedback at all if my experience was negative which really defeats the purpose of feedback - No room service was available and coffee and tea in the room are provided with no sugar or milk / creamer Overall the negatives wouldn't put me off from booking again and I was advised that the hotel only opened its doors 6 months ago, so there's plenty of room for improvement..
