The price they quoted for a taxi from the airport. Silly compared to the normal price. As usual with these hotels using their laundry service is stupidly expensive - why!??

So smart and in a fantastic location very near the Hanoi Opera House and at the start of the weekend pedestrianised part near the lake. Really lovely. The hotel also has a lovely bar with a massive beautiful loggia with a serene water feature down the middle and snug tables around the edge. The best part however is the cinema screen playing black and white Charlie Chaplin films in the background. SO cool. Also loved the pool on the third floor with outside space to lie in a sun lounger whilst listening to the sounds of the lovely street below. Really nice view from here. Ask for a opera house view maybe - we didn’t have one. Not that it mattered. Lovely room and bathroom.

I had food poisoning issue the first night staying there after having in-room service dinner. I was so sick all night and the next day. I had to have doctor consultation to get some medications to get fixed It ruined our plan and my health was at risk. We were travelling a few different places in Vietnam 10 days before coming to Hanoi and had all different kind of Vietnamese foods and I had no issue at all until I had a Signature club sandwich at this hotel. While my wife and I appreciated the help from the hotel to call the doctor and offered some safe food when I was sick, we weren’t happy with the outcome that the hotel only offered to take that dinner (which I got poisoned from) off the bill, nothing more.

I booked a suite with opera house view, but then I was given a suite without opera house view as I booked. The staff gave an excuse that the room was not available. I still needed to pay the same price as of the suite with opera house view.

But the bed was weird as it’s so tall. I had to climb up. Also they put a dark Color liminate on the ceiling above the bed so you get the feeling of the ceiling coming at you. I really don’t know why they need to put this on the ceiling.

Difficulty with booking room for our daughter, a lot of hassle and booking was cancelled thru no fault of ours. Altho they did reinstate it at the original rate but could have done without the hassle

I liked the size of the hotel and room. The rooms were modern and the staff was attentive. The street was not too busy but close to all of the attraction and restaurant options.

Seems there is a night club or disco in the basement and over night can hear the thudding. This is not good. Even sound proofing or renovation will not solve this. The club needs to close and stop the music. Not good at all. I’m sure this is not managements decision to have this club. It’s probably leased by owning company but management needs to influence owner to cancel this music. Not good at all.

It’s a glorified three star hotel. The bed is terribly lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a curtain without any walls ! Crazy. Just operating the light switches is headache inducing

Wonderful, stylish hotel located in a prime location in Hanoi near the Opera House. Friendly staff and service made our stay very comfortable from the front desk, housekeeping for items, and other staff. Rooms were well decorated with comfortable beds and a sizable bathroom.

High quality breakfast buffet, excellent french pastries. Careful and quick staff. The Lautrec restaurant is definitely worth trying. Pool and gym every morning was just perfect.
