We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay, the location is fantastic, very active nightlife on your doorstep and close to nice areas and restaurants to go and explore. The staff (Josie and Tim) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made the most of our time in Hanoi. The room was exceptional and was cleaned every day to high standards. Staff were conscious of the nightlife around the hotel and checked every morning if we slept ok and I'm sure they would have made an effort to move our room if we had issues sleeping (which we didn't). The bed was huge and extremely comfy and the room came with modern features like a smart TV which was a nice touch when trying to relax. Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay in Hanoi, particularly for the price. Tim packed us a goody bag when we checked out early for our journey to Ha Long with water and snacks which was very thoughtful.

It was all good. Just be aware the Street view are on top of the famous Beer Street. It can be a bit noisy but fine with earplugs provided by the staff if needed

Was told they’d lend a shower for free if we needed the day we left, however we were charged for it.

We had a lovely stay here for 2 nights. The staff were so lovely: polite and helpful with all questions we had. The hotel itself had a great location. Centrally located so there was a bit of noise until around midnight but you would never notice because the beds are so comfy!

It's right in the centre of everything (a bonus) but it does mean things are hectic out on the street especially when it starts getting ready for the night crowd. The doors out onto the balcony are double glazed which helped a lot. The hotel is very narrow and may seem a bit cramped for a long stay.

Wonderfully helpful staff. They check taxi/grab drivers were not trying to scam us and that communication was clear. Booked tour transport with them. Very reasonable prices (we even walked into local agents to compare) and much more trustworthy than alternatives. We were able to leave our luggage with them for 4 days while we went to Sapa and HaLong Bay even though we had already checked out. Lovely furnishings, fixtures and fittings.

Great location in terms of centrality but extremely loud and busy street--our car could barely make it to the hotel to drop us off.

Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room with functional air conditioning--this was our second attempt a Hanoi Hotel--were so unhappy with first one that we canceled the last night and found this hotel instead. So happy we changed hotels! Soundproof windows.

The shower wasn't great, it either gives you cold water or super hot water, very hard to find the right temperature and it takes a very long time. The other issue was, (and this was partially out fault for not doing our research properly), we booked a couple's massage which was very average in a room that looks nothing like the pictures, but we did not know we we supposed to tip as we were not aware of this tipping culture (this was our first time in Vietnam, a little warning from the hotel staff would have been appreciated), also, we were interrogated by the masseuse at the end of the session with a piece of paper to leave handwritten feedback, to which we wrote average and explained the reasons why (then they started to interrogate us as if we had done something really wrong) it felt very uncomfortable. I really do think reviews or surveys should be done in private to avoid this sort of situations happening. We have explained this to the manager at reception and she was very helpful and understanding, but then 1 day before check-out and to my surprise, she handed me another piece of paper with a survey to review the hotel. My suggestion to the hotel staff is to leave the reviews with Booking.com instead of pestering customers to fill in surveys in front of them, and also, advise customers who have never been to Vietnam before that tipping is expected for massages. Another suggestion would be a little maintenance, the rooms are a it dated and definitely need a fresh coat of paint and new wallpaper as it's already pealing off the walls.

The mattress was very comfortable, we got an upgrade to a room with a balcony which was quite nice. The location was perfect as it allow us to walk everywhere during our stay. Staff were quick to respond to my what's app messages, and we also appreciated the late check-in as our flight arrived in the early morning.

Old Hanoi is busy and crowded and that is a downside of the location, the noise goes up until midnight. We traveled with our kids so we go to bed early and so the loud music coming from Beer Street pubs can be annoying…

The hotel is nicely located in the heart of old Hanoi. It’s in the middle of all the action! The hotel staff are very helpful and nice!
