Its in the middle of Hanoi and easy access to all the near by places. The staff is the really helpful and they also offer tour packages which is an added bonus. The rooms are good and spacious with all the amenities you’d need to have a comfortable stay.

The hotel is in a quiet street. The room was clean. The breakfast had limited options. Tom at the reception was very helpful. He booked our day tours to Halong Bay and Nin Binh. He also booked tickets to Sapa in the VIP coach.

In the night, there are many eat-seat in the street and happy noise to mid-night.

The hotel location is in old town area and very convenient to eat and visit.

Located in the heart of the city, most places are walking distance. Nice rooms, good breakfast options - mix of western and Vietnamese. The staff are absolutely fabulous. Would like to call out an instance of great service. One evening because of unseasonal rains the entrance to the hotel was blocked with rain water and there was no way to get in without getting shoes wet. My family and a few other guests belonging to the neighbouring hotel arrived there. The staff noticed this, the staff from the neighbouring hotel simply told their guests that the water will flow away in some time and they should wait. The staff at golden Sun went in and got some low plastic stools and placed them in the water, making it possible to enter the hotel without wetting our shoes/feet. Now that's what u call customer service.

the bathroom had poor ventilation & the shower didn’t drain very well

AMAZING location, right in hanoi’s old quarter. like 2 blocks from the night market. 20 min walk from hanoi train station. the staff are very kind and accomodating — they will help with tour booking, airport car service, etc. breakfast is included and was great! they will prepare 1 hot dish of your choice in addition to the buffet-style standard offerings. had a great stay!

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, great location, clean rooms, all amenities available from toothpaste to slippers, they offer tour organization, arrange taxi transportation. In short, we were very satisfied with the hotel.

Location of this hotel is superb and the staff is very attentive and helpful, offering sightseeing tips and very competitive airport transfer options. Very tasty breakfast included in the price is another advantage.

Everything was great. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely helpful and very kind. I would definitely stay here again because the staff made our experience in Hanoi so much better. This was a great hotel! I cant say it enough! Great location and beautiful interior. The rooms were nice and the top floor balcony was a fantastic place to relax at the end of the day. I stayed here for about 5 days with my wife and her family and we all enjoyed it. The hotel itself was fantastic but staff was probably the best thing about the hotel. they were always willing to help with luggage and logistics of travel and other excursions. If you like clean rooms, beautiful interiors, a welcoming atmosphere, and fantastic customer service, this is the place for you. 10/10
