Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We had such a special stay at the hotel. We stayed for 4 nights in total. The hotel itself is incredibly nice. The location is great: close to the lake and walking distance to everything, which is convenient in the Hanoi heat. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious, with a lot of choices including for vegetarians. The beds were super comfy. But beyond the hotel itself, it was the staff that made our stay so special. They are all incredibly kind and welcoming. Dont hesitate to ask for advice on what to do for your Vietnam trip: they are full of good advice and will help you book activities. Special shoutout to Lilly who was so ever kind to us and made our Vietnam trip so special. She saved us when we took the overnight train and got drenched from head to toes by the rain and let us take showers in the hotel even though we were technically no longer guests. When we came back from Hoi An, she upgraded us to the biggest suite, the best room we’d ever stayed in. One of the many ways she and the rest of the staff made our stay so memorable and special.
