The location is impeccable and great value for money. While close to the lake, the bar street and lots of eateries, it is pretty quiet, especially from the room. The reception staff are quite helpful too.

Great stay! Kai at the front desk was lovely and gave great recommendations. They arranged rides for us cheaper than Grab, and were very accommodating. The rooms were as expected based on the photos.

My group had an amazing stay with Lavender Central Hotel Hanoi. It is reasonably priced and quaint hotel in Old Quarter. Walking distance to a lot of good restaurants, spa, and sights. Highly recommended indeed! Our group booked for 3 rooms. All rooms were comfortable and clean. The front desk staff are very friendly and attends to our requests quickly. Thanks to all of them especially to Jenny & Andrea. Kudos to Jenny for putting up tours for our group to experience. Not to be missed is their delicious breakfast spread. Aside from the basic breakfast menu, they add their local dish that changes daily for variety. The dining staff are so attentive as well.

Greeted by very welcoming and helpful staff! Beautiful hotel and very quiet but close to all the action in Hanoi Old Quarter. Highly recommend. Andre and Jenny were very accommodating and helped us get our laundry sorted in a few hours and find the bus stop for our trip to Sapa. Also the beds and PILLOWS! So comfortable:)

The hotel lobby is so beautiful and our room was lovely on the top floor. Very quiet. The staff are amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was okay. Definitely choices to fill your belly. Central to tourist attractions and the staff treated us like royalty and we received a lovely thank you gift which made us feel special.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Even after we checked out to go on a separate 2 day tour we were returned to this hotel, and they stored our bags for us, arranged onward transport (upgraded to a larger vehicle for our comfort), and gave us refreshments while we waited. The staff absolutely went above and beyond to make sure we were well cared for, highly recommend.

A few small things to make your beautiful hotel even nicer.... Towels look a bit worn out.. invest in new ones! :-) A few minor maintenance in the rooms... check light fixtures, door handles, touch up patches on walls that need to be painted over. Safe not working in the 2nd room I stayed It is absolutely fine to ask a guest to write a review, but when they have a question on their paper that you consent to give the hotel a 10/10 on Booking.com, I do not feel that this is right. When I did not check this, I could feel that they were not happy. A review needs to be honest and it is not all about a rating. I loved the hotel but there is always room for improvement! :)

First of all, I would especially like to thank Jenny and her team for a fantastic stay! They were most helpful and accommodating. Jenny helped organize excellent tours with Heritage Tours (I booked Nihn Bihn and Halong Bay Day cruise) with them. Prices were reasonable and about the price you find online. They were excellent tours. Jenny made sure I was well-taken care of and was happy. Room 1- I stayed here a total of 4 nights and had 2 different rooms. The 1st room was quite small in size but had a huge bed. It was just enough room to walk around the bed. There was one window facing into the stairwell. The decor was beautiful and bed was comfy and clean. Great toiletries and hot shower! The room was quiet overall, but you could definitely hear when the guests passed through the hallways. At one point someone started knocking on a pipe and I had to call down to reception to see if they could figure out what was happening. Thankfully it stopped. :-) Room 2- The hotel kindly upgraded me to a bigger room facing the street upon my return. Although this room was very spacious and lovely, it also came with more noise than I expected. There seemed to be a pump or air con above me that was quite loud.. along with the street noise... If you are a light sleeper, this would not be a room for you! Breakfast was great.. a nice variety and they have a menu where you can order different hot meals. Location was perfect! Staff were excellent at explaining everything! The massage therapist was excellent and worked exactly on the areas I wanted. The prices were very high compared to other spas and massages even with the 20Per discount for in-house guests. In addition, the room was very small and had 2 beds cramped inside. Due to the small room, it smelled quite musty so that was not so pleasant. Having some drinks before and afterwards would be very welcome. Overall, this is an excellent and convenient location and I would definitely come back!

Nothing major really, the bed was a bit too firm for our liking but that's the case in most of Vietnam.

Location and staff were excellent. Hana, the front office manager, was very friendly and helpful. She also reached out to us via whatsapp before our stay to ask if we needed assistance and she arranged transport from the airport for us. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good with enough variety. Breakfast staff was very accommodating. We enjoyed our time here.
