Washing machine dryer didn’t dry the clothes so had to air dry the clothes. Not a big problem.

Very clean and spacious. We were a family of 4 with a teenager and a 9 year old. We had 2 stays at the hotel before and after our visit to Ha long bay. We had the 2 bedroom apartment , the rooms were huge and perfectly accommodated my family. No concerns for our luggage’s and bits and bobs. I will like to thank Amanda for her outstanding customer service. She was helpful from the day we booked, being available to help. She checked to see if we were on an early flight and checked us into our room early so that we can get some rest. She also suggested restaurants and local sites to visit and was always available to answer any questions. I can’t remember the name of the other lady but she was also very helpful. Thanks to Huy and Gioi the taxi driver. Gioi was very friendly and said some very kind words to our family with the English he knew and through google translate. I will recommend this hotel 100 x over. You made our stay in Hanoi exceptionally with your warm and friendly service.

Room: looked exactly the same in website photos. Beautiful, bed very comfortable, there is smart TV. Love the flooring on the room. Bathroom: Shower is big, water pressure is very strong, plenty of hot water. Toiletries are provided: shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, hand washing gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kit, etc. There is a bidet, which we loved. Spotless and clean. Breakfast: There are Asian and Western choices in the buffet. There’s fried rice, veggies, noodles, tofu, bacon, sausage, different kinds of bread, cereal, marmalade, eggs, and many more. One can also made to order pancakes, omelettes, and pho included in the breakfast. We enjoyed coming down to breakfast every day. Staff: Kudos to the staff, they are all amazing! Amanda, Tracey, and Harry at the front desk made our stay extra special with their recommendations for day tours, money changers, restaurants, etc. They are always smiling and happy to help. We highly recommend Hanoi Calista Hotel to everyone planning to visit Hanoi in the future.

Excellent staff, jessi, Amanda , Siau , and others . They took care of us. They made sure there wasn't a single problem. We left the luggage at their hotel before leaving for Ha long bay. Our room was ready by the time we were back. The bell boy, venti, was equally proactive. this stay for me was much better than any 5stars I have stayed in. The location is close to the shopping street and the train street as well. It's about 700 mts from the lake .

This is a great hotel, I have stayed here twice already. Everything is great here, but the best of all is the staff, and especially I want to thank Amanda. During our stay, my sister urgently needed medical help. Amanda organized very quickly the arrival of an ambulance - an excellent doctor with team from a private clinic. We spent the whole day at the clinic, and when we returned, Amanda offered all kinds of help and support. And when we have already left, she sent us a message with words of support and wishes for a quick recovery. Dear Amanda, You are the heart and soul of this hotel, thank you SO MUCH for everything!❤️🌷

It starts to get outdated, some of the floor parquet under the doors (the room entrance and bathroom entrance). There is construction near the hotel building, but noise is only during the day. Not directly about the property but we think is worth to mention this: They arranged transportation for us to Sapa by private car, however the driver was extremely sleepy and drove slowly yet dangerously changing lanes even with no traffic, he made 3 stops on the way, and we felt not safe being inside the car for most of the second half of the trip.

The staffs were really helpful and kind with us during our stay, especially when our son was sick. A simple hotel but comfortable and clean on superb location.

There are some building works taking place next door that can be heard during normal working hours however the sound proofing is good so it didn’t affect us.

Wonderful stay. The hotel is situated off of the Main Street of Hang Bong, so is generally quieter and the rooms are sound proofed too. The hotel room was clean, modern, and functional. We received excellent service from everyone here and we wouldn’t hesitate to return (in fact we wanted to extend again, but they were fully booked!)

The location was excellent. On a quiet street but very close to everything. It was very clean, comfortable and the staff were amazing! On the first day, they gave me good recommendations for food and then let me check in early. I couldn’t find any contact lens solution and they searched online for me and even walked with me to personally get it. I had to do laundry at the last minute and they arranged it and helped me rush it. I decided to cancel my other hotel bookings and rebook with Hanoi Calista because I had such a good experience. The staff helped me re-book and even offered me an extended check out because my flight was late. They were always friendly and smiling and patient with everything. Thank you Amanda, Harry and all the amazing staff at Hanoi Calista Hotel! You made my stay memorable!
