The hotel and service were excellent! As soon as I arrived, a lady showed me to my room and a gentleman carried my suitcase up to my room! I really liked this! The lady at the reception was very helpful and gave me a very detailed map of the surrounding area where she marked the main attractions I could go to and indeed I went to them all! She also gave me a list of restaurants in the nearby area, I went to the first one on the list and it was really authentic and the food was delicious! The room was amazing with all the amenities! Very comfortable bed, a great office desk with a great lamp, which I took advantage of as I had to work. The breakfast was very rich and delicious! Just before I left, the lady at the reception booked me a van and gave me two small magnets with Vietnamese figures! I really appreciated it!

Just a little side-note: the bathtub was not as clean as it could have been. We weren't really bothered by this. But could be good to give that a look.

Hanoi E Central was a very nice and cozy place just at the heart of the old quarters. The place is nicely designed, with a lovely wooden entrance, a restaurant in the first floor and spacious rooms. The bed was a pleasure to sleep in and the bathrooms are nice and spacious. I read in some reviews that the street is noisy but honestly I didn't hear anything and our room was facing the street... I guess some people are very sensitive to noise? Their breakfast was very good as well. Just what we needed before our trip: eggs "a la carte", fruit, bread, Pho... Mrs Lily was lovely and very helpful in the day our departure. We were expecting a van to take us to Hai Fo and she was always attentive. The whole staff helped us with the bags going out. There might be more luxurious places in the city, but I think that the quality-cost ratio in Hanoi E Central is a very very good one. The attention of the staff was also super good!

We had a wonderful time in Hanoi. The hotel is in an excellent location to explore the city on foot. The staff are super lovely and helpful, including the driver. We hired their driver two times and he was very helpful and spoke good English. Great communication, and the hotel is clean and comfortable.

Many things to like and many things to say! First thing first! Hats off to Ms.Lily & Ms.Hoa! If you want to learn guest relations, they are the people to meet! The hotel is centrally located and it's near every landmark, you can walk everywhere within minutes. We didn't need grab or any other means of transport, since everything was just walking in 10 minutes - the water puppet show, the museum, the temple and even the famous markets! The hotel is surrounded by coffee shops and restaurants where you can enjoy the local food and drinks! Rooms are comfortable with all the amenities that are needed, the beds are soft and you sleep in them like a baby! We took the room, which was facing the street, but there were no disturbances at all! Then comes the breakfast, great options, and good variety, even for vegetarians! The best part was, that we told them that my wife is a vegetarian and couldn't eat much in the breakfast, so the chef made some really tasty veg rice noodles every day of our stay! The fruit platter is a must-try! Ms. Lily, she is a wonderful soul and she will make sure your trip is perfect. She organised an entire tour for us covering, Haylong bay, Sapa and Ninh Binh.. the arrangements were perfect, whether it was the stay in these places or mode of transportation! Ms Lily had organised everything perfectly! Infact she was constantly in touch with us via whatsapp during each leg of our tour to ensure our comfort! We are definitely coming back to stay here! Not just for the hotel, but for the people as well!

We informed the staff that we were expecting to arrive late after a tour of Sapa and they ensured the AC was turned on when we arrived. We were only staying the night as our next tour begins the next morning but the hotel and room had all we needed, including a shower door lol. Breakfast was fantastic and filling. The staff helped us getting on the right bus as well. Best hotel we stayed in on our trip in SE Asia!

It was a great stay at the hotel, its clean , great location just a few minutes walk from the walking street, train street , night market and also the prison. Staff are super helpful Miss Lily, Hoa, William all are very cooperative and resourceful. Overall a great stay. Definitely recommend for mid budget travelers.

Super welcoming staff - hotel is at the "end" of the Old Quarter, so basically a crossing or two from the real hustle and bustle - that also meant that it was surprisingly quiet at night time. Really nice room, great omelette at breakfast, very helpful at organising day trips and transport.

Everything was great! Only thing would be that whilst cleaning was done and the room was at a pretty good level of cleanliness, it was very very dusty under the beds and furniture.

The hotel is nice and close to the lake. The hotel staff were all very attentive, kind and helpful - they always came to assist us with our strollers and kids! The room was spacious and beds were comfortable.

Excellent location, clean and quiet room and excellent value overall. Amazing staff, especially Ms Hoa and Lily, were amazingly friendly and helpful in making our stay smooth and worry free. We had a late evening flight the next day and needed to take a rest and shower before departing so they provided us with different alternatives to accommodate our needs (we ended up extending). They also help us book tickets with great seating at the Water Puppet Theatre and made excellent restaurant recommendations. Both Ms Hoa and Lily really made a difference in making our stay memorable!
