The elevator is a bit inconvenient

Staff was really friendly - the introduction was clear and they offer to pack our breakfast as we needed to catch a morning flight. The room and balcony is spacious but the toilet is a little small. The hotel offer chairs at the balcony so we can enjoy beer outside. Jim booked the Ha Long tour for us and it was amazing, extremely professional tour.

The property is slightly run down but very clean. The staff are very very helpful and friendly especially Jim and Jenie. the breakfast on offer has good variety, fresh fruits, vegetables and juices.

No hooks for towels in the bathroom, see-through door (however this seems to be the norm). Note that the elevator starts on the first floor, not the ground floor. Therefore not completely accessible, though staff were always helpful to help us carry the prams up.

Staff were wonderful and very accommodating of small children! Helped entertain kids during breakfast, helped carry kids when we had our hands full, helped with prams/luggage etc. Rooms were rather quiet even though location was in a busy central area. Huge bed! Good buffet breakfast + possibility to order hot food. AC.

It was our first stop during trip around north Vietnam. I can truely say that this hotel had the best breakfast among all places in which we stayed. Also staff was very nice and always helpful. Alex a d Sulli were so friendly!

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights at the start of travelling through Vietnam and it was a delight. The location was great, the hotel and its facilities were top notch - the highlight, though, was the entire staff like Jenny and Alex, who were incredibly attentive and kind throughout / genuinely concerned with providing a top service and clearly remembering each and every guest individually (including after we checked out to move on to Ha Long Bay, with an offer of a return to store bags and shower etc before heading to Hanoi airport toward Da Nang).

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Royal Palace Hotel and were delighted with everything about it. the rooms were surprisingly very spacious and the quality of the rooms was amazing, as for the staff they were extremely welcoming and friendly, especially Sully and Jen who couldn't do enough for you!! the location was also perfect, within walking distance of all the main attractions.

The location was perfect very close to all the attractions. Special thanks to manager for providing wonderful service the whole stay. Jenny, Suly,… they are very friendly and cute. The check in experience was very quick and easy and the room was fantastic.

The rooms are clean, comfy, safe in room, friendly staff and great breakfast. What really makes this place amazing is their manager-Jim! When I arrived he went over my plans for Hanoi and recommended and changed them, even saving me money on a better experience! I've seen him on his day off at the hotel to ensure his guests have all they need. He's really made my stay fantastic!

Great location, friendly staff, quaint room - this is the perfect hotel to act as a base for your Hanoi visit. I stayed a few extra days following a business trip and the staff was one of the kindest and most helpful staffs I've ever experienced in all my travels.

Noise levels high but that’s probably everywhere in Hanoi. Bathroom shower could be improved

Outstanding staff, Jimmy and Alex very very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast (has all the nutrients elements of protein, vegetables, fruits and carbs !) Room super clean, big and all the amenities needed. Everything went amazingly well, clear and fast communication with the hotel staff. I had a fantastic stay and got an incredible help to organize my tour to cat Ba and Halong Bay I highly recommend it and will definitely stay again next time in Hanoi

Very good hotel located right in the middle of Ha Noi, Old Town. Close proximity to everything, many restaurants close by; only 5 minutes walk to the lake. Excellent staff; everyone was so friendly and very helpful. Very good breakfast with freshly made to order food: pho, omelet, eggs... The beds were big and comfortable. Even though the hotel is located on a busy street with a school across the street, you could barely hear the noises when you are in the room. Good shower with strong pressure and hot water. Management were very helpful and they helped to book transportation for us to get to the airport. On our last day, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel (after we checked out) and explored the town for a few hours before we went to the airport.

It was very comfortable and had just about everything that we could have expected. The location is just purrrrrfect and walkable to the markets.. Fortunately we were there on a Sunday and so we were advised to visit the night market. This was a wonderful experience. The breakfast was adequately scrumptious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. An absolute value for money place. Thank you verrrrrry much Jimmy for your hospitality!!!

The best thing is the hospitality. Mrs Jenny and the other staff are so nice. It's a great experience for our family with such a wonderful stay along with good recommendations for tours to Hanoi city and Athena Cruise Tour at Halong Bay.
