The only suggestion I could make would be to extend the time for breakfast. It finished at 9.30am.

Check-in was efficient and we were greeted with a refreshing towel and drink. Breakfast staff were exceptional as was the range of food. The pool was the largest and best we experienced on our trip. The pool facility included a games room, gymnasium, day spa and exceptionally well-appointed change rooms. Our room was tastefully appointed with an amazingly comfortable bed. Walking distance to a range of good restaurants. High Tea served by the pool was incredible.

WiFi was pretty poor, basically didn’t work. Nowadays that’s a problem especially while trying to plan day trips etc.

The staff were very nice and polite. Breakfast was good. Facilities nice.

Some areas a tad too quiet as hotel is under occupied due to its size, not for want of staff going the extra mile.

Grand hotel with idyllic pool to cool down after a hot day. The hotel is very quiet with staff enthusiastic to help. Enjoyed our brief stay very much.

We didn’t check the laundry prices before but didn’t expect it to be $100 for one load of laundry - this felt like far too much.

Incredible value for money for a 5 star hotel! A beautiful hotel full of character and charm while still feeling luxurious. The staff were very professional and friendly and went the extra mile e.g a surprise birthday cake! The pool and spa were glorious, and the rooms were plush and comfy. We loved it!

About 15min (walking) from the tourist center, not dramatic however You might spot a crack in the paint here and there in a matter of speaking.

Old school bombastic interior, clean, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good.

We had an issue with our door but this was resolved. We appreciated the very friendly and helpful staff.

Great hotel with lovely staff, excellent facilities, and great live music in the evenings (we really enjoyed listening to the violin/piano duo on both nights of our stay). Really good value for money and I would highly recommend.

When we checked out we notified the staff at reception of what we had used from the mini bar! We were told we had also used a bottle of mineral water as well! We don't drink mineral water! And it was very obvious the staff member did not believe us and it made us feel uncomfortable . We had utilised the mini bar, room service, tours and transfers all through the hotel why would we try and not pay for a bottle of mineral water!!!!! A week after arriving home we were contacted and told they had left a car service off our bill and could we please pay it. So clearly the problem lay in their staff billing and checking...not with us. I appreciate that there were language barriers but we didn't appreciate being treated like thieves over a bottle of mineral water when we had spared no expense in the hotel! And yes we payed the extra charge they requested!

The Suite we picked was accurately described and very spacious. The overall hotel itself is very clean but showing its age and the lighting in the rooms and through out the building is quote dark. We felt safe and secure at all times. The buffet breakfast is excellent! Staff were helpful and courteous. Whilst there we used their private car/tour & transfer service & and in room services.
