Old world charm and resort like feel. The staff are very helpful and kind. It’s an upmarket hotel for Vietnam, fitting the mold of 5 star hotels. For me, this meant I lost some of the local connection to Hue culture. But with the heat, the resort like pool was fantastic and the hotel complex set on two acres by the Perfume River, was wonderful. We took full advantage of the free hotel bikes, venturing out everyday. We also had on site massages-not inexpensive by Vietnamese standards but very good facilities and services. Breakfast is excellent and also having a dining experience in Le Parfum was $$$ but very good food.

Beautiful hotel full of history with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Lisa was unparalleled in organizing excursions. Great cocktails served up by Uong at the bar. Excellent gym and spa facilities. One of the best massages I have had in the whole of South East Asia!

We absolutely loved this hotel. The manager, Mr Mingh, was a delightful and charming man, and his staff were - to a person - faultless. Everything - absolutely everything - had been thought through to provide guests with the easiest and most comfortable stay, from the provision of umbrellas every time we went out to the incredible breakfast which we enjoyed overlooking the river. We have stayed in many places around the world and this was one of our top five ever! A really, really, wonderful place to stay.

Gorgeous, understated art deco hotel. Well maintained, spotlessly clean, and excellent service. The staff are attentive and very friendly. The food and beverage quality is excellent. We did the cooking class the hotel offers with Chef Tri and loved it. We appreciated the trip to the market with Chef Tri as our guide and enjoyed learning how to make three Vietnamese dishes. Strong y recommend doing the class with Chef Tri! We also did the sunset cruise to the Thien Mu pagoda and recommend very highly. Lovely canapes and we opted for extra champagne in addition to the one complementary cocktail. Definitely stay here if you visit Hue. Centrally located, near the train station and a short drive, walk or bike to the imperial palace historic site.

I did not like the turn down service because I was in my room when they came in. I didn’t hear them announce themselves and it scared me to have people in my room when I turned around from the balcony. The breakfast was also just ok. I love Vietnamese hotel breakfasts but I didn’t feel this was special for the price paid.

The spacious balcony was so nice!! We had bad weather but being able to be outside and watch the boats in the river was lovely.

We really like the hotel very much. The staff was attentive, polite and knowledgable. The property was clean, we loved the colonial style architecture, the breakfast was exceptionally good. Will definitely book this hotel if we Cust Hue.

It's a bit outside of the center of Hue, but that is also an advantage because you're not right in the hustle and bustle.

Service was GREAT. Very professionnal. A lot of attention to details from every staff from morning to night. We enjoyed the pool, the bar and also the bikes to visit the Citadelle. The Art Deco Architecture is well preserved and highlighted.
