We encountered an issue with the laundry service during our last stay as our white clothes turned pink.

During our trip to Vietnam, we had to go back three times to La Siesta. Each time, the staff welcomed us with the utmost care and attention. On our last night, we were upgraded to a better room, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is perfectly located in the old town. Rooms are amazingly clean. The pool was a lifesaver after long days out in the scorching heat. All of our transfers to other cities or daily trips out of the city were perfectly organized by the staff, and they even provided a baby safety car seat for our two-year-old son.

🤔 the building seems to struggle with humidity (as many buildings in the old quarter do), we changed our room once due to a moldy smell from the air on 🤔 cleaning of the bathroom could be improved because there were some little moldy parts in the shower

The staff were fantastic. Christine and Duk in the restaurant made our mornings and Christine was fantastic when we had our evening cocktails, she's a legend!!! The front of house staff were wonderful also always greeting us and helpful. We will be back!!!!

I just regret we couldn't use their gym. But we just had one night. I recommend booking for at least 2 :)

La Siesta was our third hotel in Hanoi after some exploration of the northern part of Viet Nam. And there was not a thing that I didn't like about this hotel. We had the most amazing experience here. Their facilities and areas are top-notch: the hotel feels modern, the pool is lovely, their spa (which by the time we used it was new) was perfect, their rooms and beds were incredible comfy and their restaurant is in the upper floor, so you can see the city while you eat (breakfast was super). They also have a lovely library full of books and a bar where they gave us a welcome drink and some welcome sweet treats. Special shout out to Ngoc Tram, our friend from the front desk. She was INCREDIBLY helpful, kind, and lovely since our arrival. <3 Always smiling, super friendly, giving us tips for our next stops in our trip in Viet Nam. It was because of her that we booked the spa service actually. And the girls from the spa were also super nice. I would book again if I had the chance. The rest of the staff was also suuuuuuper nice with us.

Light from street lights came in the window through slatted blind during the night.

Loved the pool. Great to cool off after the heat of the old quarter. Good location for food tour and lake. Bed very comfortable.

There was no way to lounge around the pool unless it was inside. If you want to sit by the pool and sun bath, it is not going to happen.

The rooms were lovely and had a nice balcony and the hotel had a pool.
