How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Love this hotel, short walk to the beach, very clean and modern, friendly staff, amazing rooftop pool, breakfast is good. This was my second time at this hotel, didn't disappoint.

Such a lovely little hotel, really surprised it's only three stars to be honest! It's extremely modern and clean with comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. Such an affordable rate too for being so close to the beach. I actually stayed in one of the beachfront 4 star hotels during this trip also but much preferred this one! Felt luxurious. Easy to walk downtown also

I think the hotel should be more generous with the water - especially when the temperature outside is 36°C! Breakfast could be a little more interesting - fruit rather limited Design of room excellent but maybe having a wardrobe in the room would be good

Brilliant hotel. Very modern, super clean and comfortable, and the room was extremely spacious. The room included a large bath tub, huge shower room, very comfy bed and lots of space. We really enjoyed using the gym there. Though it was small it still included a lot of cable work. Staff extremely friendly and breakfast was good.

We didn’t try breakfast as read the reviews which said it was very ‘eastern’ and we’d had enough of noodles by this point. We found somewhere nearby and walked :)
Only here for 1 night but the hotel was modern & definitely is one of the best rooms we’ve stayed in! Great tv in the room & shower was amazing. The rooftop pool was stunning. Would definitely recommend here.

The first window of the room facing the road doesn’t isolate the traffic noise much, so it was quite noisy. The breakfast was too repetitive everyday, the pastries weren’t fresh.
Great service from the staff. Very clean and nice facilities. Good location.

The water in the tub and shower never got hot enough and breakfast is a bit lackluster regarding choices of food and beverage.
The location, staff, and rooms are warm and welcoming. Everything seems and looks new and clean and high-quality brands.

We had a road facing room so first night it was noisy . They moved us to a large quiet room for a small charge .

The one improvement would be lighting by the sink. It is very low. While they do have an extendable makeup mirror there wasn’t enough light to make it useful. They should consider using a self-lighted extendable mirror which would largely solve the issue.
Excellent location. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. My husband loved watching tv while soaking in the tub.

We upgraded our room (due to availability) and got a suite. This room was super noisy and actually a downgrade for us. I can’t not recommend this suite which is facing the main street.
The rooms are comfortable and the food was good. We enjoyed our stay.

Difficult to control the AC in the room..it was very cold, but to be fair we didn’t ask the staff for help. Western breakfast was very limited. Emphasis on Asian breakfast, which is to be expected.

the breakfast as im not one to complain, but understanding how to make eggs would be beneficial
I always stay at here because the beds and the pillows are the best ! as a traveller, you know that a great mattress and pillows are a key to an amazing sleep! the pool was great and refreshing, the staff are always friendly and they always have a smile.

The breakfast is small and has mostly vietnames breakfast but for two nights it was alright.
The room was modern and spacious. The bed was really comfortable and everything was clean. Location was good.

Hot water was a little slow, but ultimately not a problem .
Boutique hotel with very comfortable rooms, wonderful staff, and good location, close to the beach. Amazing restaurants and coffee and great places for massages.

Gym a bit small. No weights.
Everything. Bed super comfortable, air con very effective. Clean. Staff at front dest super friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for us. Can log into own Netflix on the TV.

Sub-par breakfast, staff speaks minimal English.
