Nothing not to like everything for us was amazing.

The hotel is beautiful the view for breakfast is amazing. It was my husbands birthday and they found out from his passport and they surprised him with a cake that was amazing. The location is spot on the lake is 1 alley street away, Beer street turn left out the door then right and you will walk straight into it. The night markets turn left out the door walk straight through underwear alley and bingo there they are. Jenny at front reception was amazing she helped with giving us late check out, storing our luggage and booking us a taxi to get to the train station for the next part of our journey.

Hospitality and help from the staff were tremendous! Hannah especially helped us a LOT!! Not only with the stay but also organozing tours or pick ups to Sa Pa, Halong Bay! Breakfast was , amazing, location in Old Quarter as well! Just the best words about May De Ville!

Lovely hotel. Staff very polite, professional and attentive. Got a surprise room upgrade upon check in. Room was very spacious and modern. Great amenities. Hotel walking distance to weekend night markets, the lake, beer street and numerous other great cafes and eateries. Had a wonderful massage at a little spa next door at a good price.too. Great selection at breakfast. Views from pool, breakfast and rooftop bar amazing. Great way to round out trip to Hanoi.

The location is great, close to the lake. Nice view from the breakfast restaurant. Breakfast had a good choice of options and was delicious, the staff were friendly. The pool area was good. We would choose to stay again if we return to Hanoi.

One of our room was a bit disturbed by the music that last until 12 PM.

The hotel location is walking distant to any places in the old quarter. Food, coffee, lake... We got the connected room which is comfortable. The breakfast is great especially the noodle soup.

The staff at check-in was not very friendly at the reception desk at 11:30 PM. This person was also very unfriendly during our first stay three weeks ago when we wanted to extend the room. Because of this person, we didn't do it. We also didn't like that another staff from customer care tried to prevent me from mentioning this in the review. Additionally, we were asked three times what we didn't like about our first stay and what they could improve. It's important to be able to address what wasn't good, but approaching us multiple times within 16 hours is too much.

Great location, very central and easy to explore from. Fab view from breakfast room and swimming pool. Breakfast choice was excellent and the staff were very helpful & friendly. The pool area was great with areas to sit & relax. The actual pool was undercover yet with an open side to enjoy the view. Would definitely stay here again.

The drinks in the rooftop bar were OK - not bad, but also not great. But staff there was also very friendly and helped us “modify” our drinks a bit.

The staff is super friendly! The room was clean and nicely designed. The beds were super comfortable. I took a massage, I think it was called “body sport”, that was great as well. The breakfast is the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel!

Beautiful property with great amenities. The staff is exceptional and so welcoming. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a wonderful variety of foods. The location is great, and at night, you do not hear any noise.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Central to everything you could want to do or see in Hanoi Old Town. The room was beautiful and really comfy with a firm bed. The hotel had a great small boutique hotel vibe, with super friendly staff and lovely facilities. Their breakfast offering was probably the best we saw in Vietnam - offering both Vietnamese and Italian coffee. Highly recommend May De Ville and would absolutely stay there again.
