The staff at check-in was not very friendly at the reception desk at 11:30 PM. This person was also very unfriendly during our first stay three weeks ago when we wanted to extend the room. Because of this person, we didn't do it. We also didn't like that another staff from customer care tried to prevent me from mentioning this in the review. Additionally, we were asked three times what we didn't like about our first stay and what they could improve. It's important to be able to address what wasn't good, but approaching us multiple times within 16 hours is too much.

We liked the pool, the location in the middle of Hanoi was very nice. The breakfast was okay.

Great location, very central and easy to explore from. Fab view from breakfast room and swimming pool. Breakfast choice was excellent and the staff were very helpful & friendly. The pool area was great with areas to sit & relax. The actual pool was undercover yet with an open side to enjoy the view. Would definitely stay here again.

The drinks in the rooftop bar were OK - not bad, but also not great. But staff there was also very friendly and helped us “modify” our drinks a bit.

The staff is super friendly! The room was clean and nicely designed. The beds were super comfortable. I took a massage, I think it was called “body sport”, that was great as well. The breakfast is the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel!

Beautiful property with great amenities. The staff is exceptional and so welcoming. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a wonderful variety of foods. The location is great, and at night, you do not hear any noise.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Central to everything you could want to do or see in Hanoi Old Town. The room was beautiful and really comfy with a firm bed. The hotel had a great small boutique hotel vibe, with super friendly staff and lovely facilities. Their breakfast offering was probably the best we saw in Vietnam - offering both Vietnamese and Italian coffee. Highly recommend May De Ville and would absolutely stay there again.

May de Ville is in a very central location within walking distance to everything. We stayed at the Executive Balcony which as name describes had a roomy outdoor balcony. We were sat down in the lobby with a welcome drink when we arrived and there was a big platter of fruit awaiting us. Service was attentive and efficient.

Loved the pool it was empty when we went. The buffet was sufficient. The shower was hot and strong. The location was great. I opted for the vip room and was comfortable beds. Taxi pick up was prompt. Happy to stay again to be honest

The room wasn't huge but it was fine. It would be good to have milk in the room if you like it in your tea but that is not common in Vietnam.

The internet wifi was slow and unreliable. We told the staff at checkout and they were going to speak to their team on how to fix it.

Very good location! The staff are all very nice. The breakfast buffet has so much variety and starts early so you can enjoy your activities outside of Hanoi with a full belly! :) They also let us store our luggage, enjoy the pool, and have a shower before our trip to Sapa.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect central location. The buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The room was very clean and had comfortable beds. We loved the rooftop pool and bar, as well as the Day spa.
