We loved staying here. The breakfast was amazing, the best breakfast so far on our whole stay in SE Asia. We loved the garden area and the room was clean and spacious. We loved the free bicycles and made use of them to cycle around the area. It was a great location, not far from the ferry and we were surprised to find a really good local restaurant within walking distance ( not visible on Google maps). The owner was very helpful, we actually extended our stay here because we loved it so much!!!

Great place away from the more commercial side of the Mekong Delta. We loved the food and the boat trip. We cycled round the island, using the homestay's bikes. We felt so at home, we stayed an extra 2 days. Lovely place.

Breakfast: every morning different an very nice. Plenty tea and coffee and nice extra’s like coconut cookies. Very spacious and clean. Very friendly owners. A lot of nature around. 300 meter immediately left from the Ferry. Relatively quiet. You can book a nice boat ride and there are bicycles and motorbikes to rent for fair prices.

The location is great if you enjoy a peaceful place...we do 🙂 The ferries onto the island are constant and there are other ferry ports around the island if you want to be adventurous and go island hopping. Recommend cycling around the island and visiting others. Breakfast varied ,one day was better than the other.

Very very friendly host. Nice garden with many seats and very big veranda. It’s very nice also in the evening. And the food, made by the family in Vietnam style, was delicious. We used the bikes to make a big tour over the island. The host gave us a map. An unique experience. And he arranged a boat tour for en us, His sister teached us some vietnamese words. Great hospitality.

Bicycles need some maintenance. One of ours broke on the way and we needed to push it back.

Super nice and helpful host. Beautiful garden. The whole island is just a paradise full of orchards. We can recommend the 4,5h boat tour (400k VND / person) that we booked via the homestay. We asked for a vegetarian breakfast option and it was yummy. Dinner was also very tasty with large portions. We rented bicycles for 50k VND per person. Rooms were basic but proper with kettle, hot water and AC.

Lovely large homestay (guesthouse attached to family home) with very friendly family, comfortable rooms, breakfast, near the ferry (very short walk), quiet location, free bike hire and suggestions of bike routes. Stayed 2 nights and extended to 3. We cycled all around the island - loads of tiny roads, bridges and lanes to explore to see village life - exactly what we were looking for

Our family stayed at Nam Thanh Homestay and had a wonderful time. The food was wonderful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Everyone was so helpful. We had a wonderful boat trip of the area that was organized by the homestay.

Beds were too soft and no sheets/duvet cover. Shower wasn't great. Could do with thicker curtains as there was a light that shone directly in...luckily we had eye masks! Bring mosquito repellent!

Beautiful setting with it's own gardens, lots of outdoor seating areas, lots of hammocks dotted around the gardens, felt very peaceful. The owner arranged a boat trip for us with his brother in law which was very pleasant. Bikes were free to borrow, a great way to see the island. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We also had dinner both nights which was delicious.

The mattress was too soft for me and the house restaurant was a bit overpriced compared to what you find around. The breakfast is a continental breakfast, slightly underwhelming. We would have preferred a classic local Vietnamese breakfast.

The location, close to the ferry port, was very convenient. The house is very nice and surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. The owner is quite helpful and kind. Bicycles were available. Make sure to book your meal in advance!
