Fantastic food served right on the river, a great boat trip to Ca Bei, bikes to hire and exceptionally friendly staff who looked after us extremely well. Added bonus was the billiards table - a great way to spend an evening after the sun went down.”

The family is magic (they are the real plus!!!) and grandmother’s dishes are delicious: from breakfast (don’t miss the coffee, the juice and the eggs) to lunch and dinner. “Wonderful location at Mekong River. Interesting but very simply furnished bugalow with partly opened bathroom. Nice and helpful owner who arranged for us wonderful trip to floating market, national park and other places. Owner booked for us better bus to Saigon. It was no problem to get abundant dinner after 22:00”
“Such a lovely home stay! A beautiful garden oasis with every detail thought of… lovely teas, soft towels, custom made white cotton robes and an outdoor shower with tile and stone work that makes you feel like you are in a fairy land. Yennie’s welcoming generosity makes you feel at home and the food is fresh and delicious. The geckos chirp at night right outside your room and Yennie will make you a cocktail with purple butterfly flowers from the garden. The tour we took on the river with a pottery workshop, puffed rice candy making and rice paper pancakes was fascinating. And definitely don’t miss the market, so many different types of fruits vegetables, and live seafood. A restaurant at the market served the best Pho I’ve ever had.

“Really beautiful homestay, every meal was eaten right on the river with incredible sunsets. Very friendly staff, delicious food and basic but practical rooms. Surrounding area was quiet but very interesting and beautiful, felt off the beaten track if that’s what you like. Was nice to explore it on the mopeds. Boat tour was also very interesting, and the pool table was a nice bonus. Very good value for money!”
“We really enjoyed a few nights here. The guesthouse is located right on the Mekong making it quite special. The staff were super friendly and went out of her way to make us welcome. The food was excellent on site and good value. Our kids loved the pool. A lovely place to get away from the tourist centres!”
“Our stay in the homestay Ngoc Sang was very nice. It was very quiet and it felt like home. Oanh (the hostess) is very sweet and the food she makes is amazing. The room has basic furniture (as you can see in the pictures) and the airco is very nice. Everything is very clean. It is nice to sit outside on the terrace. The family you’re staying with is very kind. We had a great time staying here. We were able to book a boat tour tour the Mekong Delta as well through the homestay, which was very nice and taught us a lot about the local food and culture. There are also bikes which you can use if you’re staying at the homestay, and we used them to ride around the island and Vĩnh Long city on the other side of the river. We had a great time here! The hostess can help you how to get to the island from Saigon and how to get back!”
