Rooms were very noisy (we stayed here two times in different rooms), first room you could hear the neighbors breathe, second room was right next to the staff elevator where they had their chat and watched loud videos on their phones all the time.

Location is perfect, right at the edge of the old town, perfect to walk everywhere. breakfast did include local specialities and western food, many options. Staff was super friendly, especially the service giving real-time info during breakfast at what time our driver for the next activity will arrive, so we could have a more relaxed breakfast. Also a nice rooftop bar.

The pool area felt a bit overcrowded with beds and pool could’ve been a touch better maintained but very minor point. Food options on the rooftop could’ve been broader but again very minor point.

Amazing breakfast, we started our trip (and first time in Vietnam) at the Peridot and didn’t realise quite how spoilt we were with it..! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Super clean rooms and communal areas. We had help from Lucy with booking our trip to Halong bay. Location was fab and loved the rooftop.

This hotel has an amazing location but provides an oasis from the busyness of Hanoi. The service was top quality and the rooms are superb! The spa was a real treat and same with the sky bar, would highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is beautifully fitted out and the staff were endlessly charming and helpful and dignified. We stayed for three nights, travelled north, and upon returning to Hanoi stayed at the Peridot for another three nights. It will be go-to place when visiting Hanoi. The restaurant upstairs was wonderful, luxurious and full of surprises included treats such as a beetroot carpaccio starter that my wife, after one bite, jealously guarded. They had a perfect truffle risotto was perfectly sizes with rice grains full of flavour and wonderfully texture.

perzonalized care at at the restuarants, couldn't be better. we are vegetarians and the staff was very helpful. Reception and co-incerge was courteous and the sheer locatlion is excellent. Worth visiting again

The hotel is perfectly located. Right in the heart of the old quarter. The room was very nice and clean. I read reviews about the hotel praising the staff. When I went there I was impressed. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us and make our stay as memorable as it can be. I have to mention how nice Mrs. Stella was. She helped us many times during our stay. The hotel has a great rooftop bar. it was very relaxing. Definitely will stay there again on my next stay.

Staff were amazing. I accidentally booked not paying attention to how much it cost. Let us call it a happy accident. I was blown away how beautiful it was but more by how I was treated by the staff. They helped my send two postcards and ship a painting back to the states. Just wow!

Fabulous hotel in easier walking distance to the Old Quarter. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Loved the Sky bar and the rooftop pool. Ideal after a day exploring Ha Noi and further afield. Excellent options and quality at breakfast, and the roof top bar and restaurant was perfect for drinks and food

There was an early check-in fee from 10am for about 70-75 euro. Check-in at 9am was more expensive. The room was available as the previous guests checked out, so the payment basically means your (soon to be) room gets prioritized with cleaning. Its pricey for an early check-in, but after a 12h flight worth it (for us). During the 3 nights stay we left every morning around 8-9am, and came back between 2-3pm. All days the rooms weren’t cleaned yet and I had to call for this. We left the “please clean-up room” light on before going out every day. On all occasions the reason was the hotel is fully booked and they need to clean the checked out rooms first (so new guests can check-in) before they start with the inhouse guests. I do understand this, but the hotel being fully booked shouldnt be my problem. My room not being cleaned by 3pm is not acceptable for a 5 star (pricey) hotel. They could hire more staff for housekeeping. On our last day there was a company hosting a party at the rooftop restaurant. This caused the inhouse guests to be placed on the very top floor. There was less ambiance as from most angles you would be looking one floor lower at the company party. Before the event started you could hear soundchecks, and earlier during the day staff was moving things all day to build up the setup for the event. Food (burger) at the topfloor restaurant was disappointing.

Upon entering the hotel it’s like stepping into a movie. Amazing hotel where they pay attention to details. The rooms are great, so is the rooftop pool! I made use of the gym (great!) and the spa. I took a duo massage with my 7 year old son, he loved it! The breakfast has a great selection of very good food. Cocktails on the topfloor where great. Would recommend to stay here.

The first room we had unfortunately had roosters from a neighbouring building crowing at 3am and didn't stop. But when we asked for a change of rooms, the staff went out of their way to find us another room which made our stay very pleasant.

The breakfast at Peridot was exceptional and the service from staff wonderful.
