Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaPerhaps the staff are motivated (even pressured) to be too nice to the guests. It can get a little suffocating at times. I generally don't like transparent bathroom partitions, and those that don't bolt from inside.
The main advantage is the central location. Almost all tour operators will pick up from the hotel. The rooms are clean and the facilities are modern. When we visited, there was construction work in the neighboring hotel which was a big distraction, but I assume it is temporary. The staff is very friendly (almost too friendly).

SpainOur stay here was awesome, they deserve every great review they receive. The staff made our stay even better. They taught us a bit of Vietnamese here and there too and welcomed us every time with great enthusiasm and smiles. The lobby smells so good! Special mention for Paul during breakfast, you are great and made our day with your smile and top professionalism! ❤️ Plus, we slept like babies, their beds are super comfortable, which you appreciate after long days in the old quarter trying not to be run over by scooters.

GermanyIncredibly attentive, friendly, warm and courteous staff; wonderful breakfast room on the roof terrace with a super tasty breakfast. Every wish was read from our eyes. We felt incredibly comfortable and booked our next stay there straight away. The room with balcony was a little dream. We have been to hanoi several times and the eliana premio hotel was by far the best we have ever had. Thank you very much for the great time.

AustraliaWe had the best stay at Eliana! From the moment we were picked up at the airport at 2am right until we got in our taxi to leave on the final day we were greeted with happy friendly smiles the entire stay! Ruby, Lovy and Danny in reception were fantastic! They gave us plenty of tips and were so friendly! The room was huge and so clean, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom immaculate! It was so nice after huge days of exploring Hanoi coming back to such a nice room! Something that was important to us is that the wifi worked perfectly throughout the whole hotel! On the top floor is Grandmas Kitchen where we had buffet breakfast each morning to start our day. The food was delicious, they had plenty of Western food and just as much Vietnamese food! Win who served us each morning was so kind and just like the reception staff he was always smiling and happy to see us! The hotel is in the perfect location it’s only a 5 minute walk east to get to the hustle and bustle of Hoan Kiem Lake where you can find the famous Beer Street, weekend night markets and of course plenty of delicious food! Take a 2 minute stroll west and you’ll be at the famous Train Street and a 5 minute walk south and you’ll be at Hoa Lo Prison filled with so much Vietnamese history. The location is unbeatable, the rooms are amazing and the food is delicious buts it’s the staff who really made this stay unforgettable! We have been travelling for over a month through three countries and this is easily the best place we’ve stayed! We’re coming back to Hanoi after a short stay in Sapa and we’ve already booked to stay at Eliana again!

everything ! cannot fault this hotel or staff . we had one half of the group needing an early check in , the other a very late check on - neither a problem . the hotel was spotless , very comfortable and well equipped . it is in a great location in the old quarter and although our bedroom was at the front, noise from street was not at all intrusive . The exceptional thing was the help and advice given by the staff with regards to booking and making our further travel arrangements - Danny /Joy went above and beyond ! Thank you so much

This is a great value for money hotel in the old quarter. Stayed here twice during our visit before and after a Sapa visit. Stayed at another hotel after returning from Ha Long Bay, and whilst ok we were disappointed, we didn't go back to Eliana. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Czech RepublicMy stay at Eliana Premio Hotel Hanoi in Vietnam was exceptional! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the level of service and attention to detail. The room was not only immaculately clean but also incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. I must commend the staff, especially Danny, Quinn, joy and nguyen, for their outstanding hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure that my every need was met, from arranging transportation to recommending local attractions. Their warm demeanor and attentiveness truly made me feel valued as a guest. Additionally, the hotel’s amenities exceeded my expectations. Whether it was enjoying a delicious meal at the on-site restaurant or relaxing by the pool, every aspect of my stay was thoroughly enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Eliana Premio Hotel Hanoi to anyone visiting Vietnam. The combination of impeccable service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient amenities makes it a standout choice for travelers. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay unforgettable!

United KingdomWe stayed for a second time when we returned from our Halong Bay cruise. The new room was equally well-equipped as the first, and the staff continued to be welcoming and helpful - especially Jenny and Joy! It's worth mentioning that the hotel has excellent tourist information and can help organise taxis and SIM cards at an affordable price too.
