Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyPrices at the restaurant are slightly elevated compared to local alternatives. Most bicycles are not in a good shape.
Very friendly staff, delicous and varying breakfast. A remote and calm place perfect to relax and getting to know rural Mekong delta. The pool had been refilled on our first day, so it was perfectly clean. There's the opportunity to do bicycle and canoe trips. For our arrival and departure, we could be picked up from the ferry.

United KingdomThe pool needs some renovation and the water was quite warm and a little murky but acceptable for the price and I would stay here again without the pool just for somewhere quiet to rest for a night.
The area is very remote on a small island and while the resort has no views as such it is a very pleasant garden. Each bungalow is fully detached and quite private which makes it great for just relaxing. The area is safe to walk around and the resort has kayaks and bicycles to rent for free. The staff were wonderfully friendly and dinner was great. You can also get here from HCMC easily I guess by taking a bus to Cai Be, then the ferry and walking down the road to the resort.

United KingdomEnglish skills of the staff were poor, although the resort was advertised as international on banners outside of the facility (only photos of Western tourists). It felt more like a homestay. The family was lovely, but unfortunately, they seemed a bit inexperienced with having guests. Getting to the resort was very difficult. If you dont have your own transport, it makes it impossible to get there. Because of that we faced a lot of extra expenses during our stay. The place felt abandoned. Staff looked surprised to see us on our check-in day. It all seemed a bit improvised. The island is lovely, and if you are looking for a homestay, not a resort, i can recommend it. Dont be deceived by the photos on booking.com.
Fresh fruit from the garden provided by the staff.

The park is on an island in the Mekong Delta, it has a lovely garden surrounding the park. We were the only guests at the time for a 3 night stay. We arrived by bus to Vinh Long, ferry to island, then motorbike to the accommodation - this was very unexpected and took some arranging - the park is quite isolated, which is great if you want peace and quiet with a relaxed atmosphere. There are bike and kayaks to use. The staff were great and even arranged for an English speaking person to see us every evening to tell us about the area and see how we were and if we needed anything. One surprise on arrival was that the electricity was off - a government thing for the island - this meant no air con, water pumps for shower/toilet etc. The electricity came back on later that evening - which was a relief as it was very hot. The staff assisted us in organizing the transport to get back to Ho Chi Minh City - as we did not know how this was going to work given how isolated it is and how we arrived - thankfully worked out well This is a lovely resort, but i believe it must have had its hey day a few years ago - well prior to covid - the rooms are clean and bathroom good, balconies look out onto other rooms/balconies - just note the review dates and photos would have been taken some time ago The staff were very friendly and as we were vegetarian they accommodated us very well. There are no other places to eat an evening meal We did catch the local ferry to Cai Be - which was great - but there is a lot of walking involved both to get to the ferry and on the other side to Cai Be. All in all it was an experience and when you travel that is what its all about

Luxembourg3% fee for credit card use (all almost everywhere in the country).
This place is Eden: you reach the beautiful bungalows via bridges, leading over small canals that sourround them; everywhere are plants and flowers and you are invited to try and eat all the different and exotic fruits hanging from the trees. The pool is clean and nice and the hotel offers bikes and kayaks for free so that you can explore this beautiful Mekong-island by yourself. The family is very nice and helpful and the food is very good.

PolandThe neighbourhood isn't that interesting, you can walk, bike and kayak around the village paths, there is one nice coffee place nearby but that's it. If you look for mellow vibe in a quiet surroundings it is great though :)
the tranquility of this place is impressive, we were getting a lot of nice extras (like fruits, ice tea, desserts) very nice and helpful staff - especially young Thom has been talking with us a lot (explaining the surroundings, the many fruits we've never eaten before, showing us around the family's rambutan garden), quite clean nice large swimming pool. They let the guests use kayaks - the river might be dirty but it is still great to observe the neighbourhood from it.
