Great hotel, clean rooms, wonderful staff, and a very good breakfast

Curtains at the toilet couldn’t close fully. There was always a tiny gap. Toilet glass could be frosted better. Still able to see the silhouette of a person inside rather clearly. Would be great if it could be much more opaque. Both aren’t big issues, but would be perfect if fixed.

Excellent service staff! Loved that they have a WhatsApp, so I could easily send them a message instead of calling using the hotel room’s phone. Avoids any miscommunication! Extremely helpful with guests, good command of English.

The location is great, the staff were wonderful! Super helpful with everything. Room was great and we were actually upgraded which was a great start to our journey. We did have a funny smell in the room but they fixed it very quickly.

The location is great, our room was well kept and functional. It’s not super luxurious but very acceptable. The best was the amazing staff. Everyone was polite, friendly, helpful and extremely attentive, making you feel very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding!!

Nothing drastic or highly negative, but just tiny points to improve on. A price list for the mini bar in the room would be helpful. A new hairdryer that doesn't switch itself off every 30 seconds from the heat safety mechanism would be worth investing in. We are non-meat eaters. So..perhaps considering more versatile food options. For example, the Bánh Cuõn (local rice roll) was served plain with the pork sausages and extras on the side. Which is great because meat and non-meat eaters can serve their own plates accordingly. However, this wasn't always the case - e.g. the fried rice had chopped up pork sausages in it...and it is served with bacon and sausages next to it. In this instance for example, if the fried rice was veggie friendly, then those who would like to add meat to their rice could easily do so. This way, everyone gets to tailor their meals easily without the kitchen having to make more dishes. Something to consider to help cover all dietary basis without having to burden the kitchen perhaps. As mentioned, these are some simple tweaks and suggestions to an otherwise great job that the hotel is doing.

Lovely decor. Clean and beautiful. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice extra details and offerings - I.e. checking in process was wonderful with cold towels, welcome tea and fruits. An unexpected gift of coffee upon checking out. Very impressed. Reception even offered us a car ride upon checking out with a driver from the hotel to the airport - matching the price that Grab (the local version of Uber) was offering, without any extra costs. Location was great. The hotel is just slightly out of the center of the Old Quarter. Which means the road is slightly wider and less hectic in front of the hotel. Which makes it a lot easier to order a taxi throughout the stay and also it feels more spacious when stepping out of the lobby. The hotel is close to everything and it is walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. Slightly out of the tourist traps in the center so you tend to get a few more options that locals seem to go to as well. It is also a short taxi ride towards the West Lake area if you wanted to get out of the Old Quarter for a change of scenery and pace. We got a suite and the room was lovely. Even though it overlooks the main road, there's a separate closed balcony, which means there's 2 panes of glass windows and sliding door between the room and street below, so there was no traffic noise. Air-con in the room was great too, so sleeping at night was very comfortable. Overall we loved our 6 night stay at Salute! Would definitely recommend.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. Before we even arrived we were supported with Lana Hoang and the staff as they contacted me via email & whatsapp to keep updated on our arrival and help organise transport for us. Upon arrival we were given really useful advise, a lovely drink and a well marked map of things to do. Throughout our stay, the doorman was so polite always opening our door and greeting us with a smile. The whole team were excellent. Breakfast was delicious, perhaps the best food I ate in Hanoi. The rooms were very tidy and the facilities were immaculately kept and presented. The interior was very gorgeous. We were very impressed with the entire experience and our rooms. I would recommend anyone to come stay at Salute Premium Hotel in Hanoi. Thank you Lana and thank you to the whole team.

The room was well sized, and the facilities were of a high standard. The staff were very accommodating and even allowed a late check out at no extra cost. I used the Spa facility, which was also of a high standard using quality products.

Shower entrance and hanging towels too small area to enter/exit each time.. Need a mirror for ladies to put make up at the dresser, not enough hangers, closet too small. Other than that, love the room decors.

Well located, Restaurants,Cafes and Convenience stores at door steps. Walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake, Weekend Night market, other attractions ie.Train St, Water Puppet Theatre, Double Decker bus tour.. very convenient. Love the location & Excellent services from all Staffs, in particular Lana, she's extremely knowledgeable & efficient, helped us with tours and suggestions, Tina at the front desk also very helpful and cheerful, love her smiley face. Not forgetting Sung from the Room Service, he's always smiley and greeted us and assisted us with room amenities requirements, Sunny from the Breakfast room-she's beautiful & always greeting n helping us with our breakfast needs. Basically, the Excellent services received was beyond our expectations & so happy to know each of them in such a short time. Thanks to all.🤗We've stayed in a Deluxe room for 2weeks... love the pillows.👍

Everything was very good. No real negatives. Using safe was a bit tricky first up and would recommend getting to breakfast earlier rather than later, as it seemed to get busy some days from 9am onwards.

The Salute Premium Hotel and Spa was an excellent place to stay for 9 nights on our trip to Hanoi. Conveniently located in the Old Quarter within easy walking distance to all main markets and tourist attractions, expecially the train. Rooms are well appointed, breakfast offers a good variety of options via the buffet supported by some menu options. The Reception staff were exceptional, always welcoming and informative on the front desk, and spoke English very well. Housekeeping were very punctual and kept the room tidy and water bottles were well stocked each day. The bed in the room was comfortable and the shower was very good. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this Hotel to those wanting to stay in the Old Quarter in Hanoi.

Location is within Old quarter but still quiet at night. staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room is very clean. Insulation could be improved as I noticed moisture can get in windows. but overall perfect! Property is very cute and clean! Edit: We checked out early in the morning and the staff were ready to assist us even in the wee hours of the morning :) they even gave us breakfast to go which we found very thoughtful and sweet of them. Made our first visit to Vietnam a memorable one. We really hope to come back again! keep up the Excellent service!

An oasis from the busy streets of Hanoi. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great (variety of savoury, freshly cooked eggs how you like them, pastries and fruit). Comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Would stay again.

Noise at night as party next door until late. No fault of hotel though. They discounted our bill as a result. Spa was over sold. It was a mall room under stairs.
