I had several transits between various locations and staff was excellent in helping arrange bus, ferry and taxi services. It was such a relief to have that all taken care of by the hotel. Really excellent, made my trip a whole lot easier.

Although the hotel is located in a busy part of Hanoi, it is very peaceful and quiet. The staff is fantastic, alert and always ready to help. They give you the best sightseeing and food recommendations the moment you arrive. We asked about the trip to Ha Long Bay and they organized it for us too. The rooms are well-equipped and tidy. There were many breakfast options also vegetarian, fresh juice, fruit etc. Everything was fresh and tasty. Close to many sightseeing locations. We loved our stay there and definitely would come back.

Everything was THE BEST!

The experience I had with hotel stuff is one of the best in my life!!! I booked a room using Booking.com and contacted with a request to help me organize my trips to Ha Long and Da Nang (Ms Sue). Everything was done with great care and quickly. Upon arrival we had a 10 min thorough talk of where to go to eat, have drinks, what to see, where given very particular map ... We were literally surrounded by care and high attention. Every time leaving the hotel we were given useful tips and water. The hotel staff is THE BEST in client relations and I've been to 68 countries and really value that level of professionalism.

I rate this hotel 11/10, the place is absolutely amazing. The staff are great - extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful and attentive. They offer you help before you even ask! Everyone also speaks good English. Thank you for the early check-in, pre-trip shower option, luggage store and all the great help and hospitality! The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Everything was new. One of the best I've ever slept in Vietnam! The breakfast was tasty and varied. This place is perfect located, in the Old Quarter but at the same time on a quiet street. I definetely recommend this hotel to anyone! Great people work there :) Thank you very much for an amazing stay!

For us, our only criticism was the AC which could have been better, stronger. It took a few hours to cool the room and then was only a few degrees, not as cool as we would have liked, we fed this back at checkout. Otherwise everything was great!

Location and staff were brilliant! Very welcoming and offered us a choice of room for our 6'3+ heights as the room we booked had lowish shower facilities. Very considerate and helpful! Breakfast was also very good, I liked the buffet choice with availability of eggs many ways to order 👍🏻👍🏻

May not applied to everyone. But as I am solo traveller , sometimes you wanted to chill at hotel room, but all the programmes on TV was in Vietnamese. So literally there nothing for me to watch at all.

I like the location. Is walking distance to many good places to eat , drink , etc. The hotel staffs are very helpful and caring.

Curtains at the toilet couldn’t close fully. There was always a tiny gap. Toilet glass could be frosted better. Still able to see the silhouette of a person inside rather clearly. Would be great if it could be much more opaque. Both aren’t big issues, but would be perfect if fixed.

Excellent service staff! Loved that they have a WhatsApp, so I could easily send them a message instead of calling using the hotel room’s phone. Avoids any miscommunication! Extremely helpful with guests, good command of English.

Nothing drastic or highly negative, but just tiny points to improve on. A price list for the mini bar in the room would be helpful. A new hairdryer that doesn't switch itself off every 30 seconds from the heat safety mechanism would be worth investing in. We are non-meat eaters. So..perhaps considering more versatile food options. For example, the Bánh Cuõn (local rice roll) was served plain with the pork sausages and extras on the side. Which is great because meat and non-meat eaters can serve their own plates accordingly. However, this wasn't always the case - e.g. the fried rice had chopped up pork sausages in it...and it is served with bacon and sausages next to it. In this instance for example, if the fried rice was veggie friendly, then those who would like to add meat to their rice could easily do so. This way, everyone gets to tailor their meals easily without the kitchen having to make more dishes. Something to consider to help cover all dietary basis without having to burden the kitchen perhaps. As mentioned, these are some simple tweaks and suggestions to an otherwise great job that the hotel is doing.

Lovely decor. Clean and beautiful. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice extra details and offerings - I.e. checking in process was wonderful with cold towels, welcome tea and fruits. An unexpected gift of coffee upon checking out. Very impressed. Reception even offered us a car ride upon checking out with a driver from the hotel to the airport - matching the price that Grab (the local version of Uber) was offering, without any extra costs. Location was great. The hotel is just slightly out of the center of the Old Quarter. Which means the road is slightly wider and less hectic in front of the hotel. Which makes it a lot easier to order a taxi throughout the stay and also it feels more spacious when stepping out of the lobby. The hotel is close to everything and it is walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. Slightly out of the tourist traps in the center so you tend to get a few more options that locals seem to go to as well. It is also a short taxi ride towards the West Lake area if you wanted to get out of the Old Quarter for a change of scenery and pace. We got a suite and the room was lovely. Even though it overlooks the main road, there's a separate closed balcony, which means there's 2 panes of glass windows and sliding door between the room and street below, so there was no traffic noise. Air-con in the room was great too, so sleeping at night was very comfortable. Overall we loved our 6 night stay at Salute! Would definitely recommend.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. Before we even arrived we were supported with Lana Hoang and the staff as they contacted me via email & whatsapp to keep updated on our arrival and help organise transport for us. Upon arrival we were given really useful advise, a lovely drink and a well marked map of things to do. Throughout our stay, the doorman was so polite always opening our door and greeting us with a smile. The whole team were excellent. Breakfast was delicious, perhaps the best food I ate in Hanoi. The rooms were very tidy and the facilities were immaculately kept and presented. The interior was very gorgeous. We were very impressed with the entire experience and our rooms. I would recommend anyone to come stay at Salute Premium Hotel in Hanoi. Thank you Lana and thank you to the whole team.
