Breakfast was good, hiking through some of the back trails and roads was excellent. You could use either pool. The one at the hotel or the neighboring hotel.

Wow this place is so beautiful! It was really easy to get to from the bus stop, the pool was very nice and the views are absolutely stunning. The rooms are lovely with a patio everything is incredibly clean. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. I would definitely come back.

Absolutely loved Sky Bay! Such a stunning location with a tranquil and relaxing vibe, stunning rooms and bathrooms, lovely pool, lovely staff and tasty food in the restaurant - the staff were s helpful with all of our strange requests and helped us organise transport/motorbike rental etc - they were honestly fantastic. It's a family run business and the family are all so nice - I couldn't thank them enough! Also the rooms were just beautiful.

The place was amazing. The owner even gave us a ride to the bus at 6h15 am, free of charge. They were really great. And the rooms were as nice as the pictures, which is rare.

Bed mattress too hard for our liking so didn’t get a good sleep and very squeaky wooden slats, every time you moved when sleeping. Western food menu offered to us was bland, didn’t realise there was a Vietnamese menu which we would have preferred. Only worked out when Vietnamese lady next table had an amazing dinner that was not on offer in the Western provided menus.

Beautiful rooms and bathroom and views. Wife loved the bath (although with the window open everyone can see you 😬) Staff very friendly and attentive. Nice family run business.

the retreat is situated in such an incredibly peaceful and gorgeous surrounding. i very much enjoyed walking along the serene roads through the rice fields as well as my lovely communications with the villagers along the way. the room was amazing… beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. the pool and the bathtub were both heavenly. The staff was absolutely wonderful!!! i highly recommend ordering the fish! i watched them catch it out of the pond and the presentation of my meal was so beautiful.. and so delicious! the 3 day private motorbike ha giang tour i booked through them was phenomenal!!! the guide was a wealth of informationt and a very safe driver …he took me on routes where we were able to avoid big groups of tourists. the accommodation on the second night and food throughout the trip was absolutely incredible!

This has everything that you could wish for. Private bungalow with a nice bath, very modern and luxuriously decorated. Lovely bed with a curtain against musquitos. It’s simply fantastic. So far the best place i have stayed in Vietnam. Host is very good in English and the food was amazing. Thank you!

The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. The accommodation is located 6 km from Ha Giang and a cab will cost you 130 to 140 dong to get out there. It is located in a very quiet , beautiful relaxing location. The food at the home stay was very reasonably priced and delicious especially the pork spring rolls. Lastly the family were very friendly and helpful.

We arrived late due to a dreadful bus trip, having not eaten since breakfast. Exhausted from the day's ordeal, we inquired about a snack, but to our surprise, they prepared a full meal for us. The hospitality and kindness of the people were truly exceptional. It turned out to be an unforgettable stay!

It was cold the night we arrived and it took quite a while for the room to heat up. Other than that, very comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and greeted us, even with a late check in. The food was good and plentiful. The room was large and very nice. The setting was also pretty.

This isn’t a negative because we liked this element of the stay (it was secluded and we wanted to use the time to rest, so we happily had all our meals here since the food was tasty and varied!). But just be mindful that getting into town for meals etc can take time/effort.

We stayed at the smaller bungalows for 2 nights before taking the Wings 3D2N Ha Giang Loop tour with Easy Riders (which we booked through Sky Bay once we arrived), and then we stayed at the larger bungalows for 3 nights to recover. Despite the cold, we had an absolutely fantastic time. The tour was excellent, we felt safe and well looked after (if you do go in cold weather though, don’t underestimate it as homestays don’t have heating- pack lots of layers and bring a sleeping bag if you have one!). Throughout our tour and stay, the staff at Sky Bay made us feel like part of the family, it was a special week that we’ll always remember. I could go on and on!

About the only thing we noted were thin towels. Everything else met or exceeded our needs and expectations.

Very personal attention provided by staff. They met or exceeded our every need. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Delicious breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Great views of garden area behind our unit. Very country feel. Another night and day to relax would have been great.

The bungalows are super spacious and really clean. The staff is incredibly helpful and the food is amazing. Unfortunately we only stayed for 1 night but wish we had more time for relaxing here. They even gave us a free ride back into town when we we’re leaving. 10/10!

Sky Bay was a great location to unwind for a day or so after driving from Hoang Su Phi. The room and bathroom were spacious and very comfortable with a terrace at the back. The pool was clean and well maintained. All the staff were very kind and helpful. The property is a 10 minute drive from Ha Giang so very peaceful, and the food was excellent.

The location is a bit far from the city center by foot, but rent a bike for the day for free and it's fine. Searching for the little defects, the bathrooms could be renovated, but is clean nontheless.

The pool ! Too exposed during daytime, take care not to get sunburns ! But awesome at night. And the great size of the bedroom, each of them with views to the pool.

Very welcoming staff after a long ride up from Hanoi. The pool was amazing on the hot day. The room was massive! Comfortable bed, aircon and fan! Hot water was perfect, the bathtub was awesome. Verandah overlooking the rice fields was a bonus! Perfect location just outside the city for piece and quiet. Very accomodating and let us leave luggage while we did the loop and gifted us bottled water and raincoats. A++
