Phone on the room did not work and they didn't fix it. Restaurant is pretty expensive and nearby is not restaurants so not many options.

Breakfast was amazing. Gym was good aswell. If you want to have your vacation in one place, then it is perfect.

Hmm............ where to start? The food was so limited, not just for westerners, but even the Vietnamese food was limited. We checked out and found another hotel purely because the food was making us miserable. I tried a few things on the menu and it was all pretty awful. I am easy to please with food, so I feel for those who aren't! The room was a little tired and it could have been cleaner. This is s STUNNING property, and I feel like it needs new management to bring out its full potential. The water for the bath was not warm enough. so it wasn't quite the experience I had hoped. The toilet was blocked twice... lucky my husband was able to fix it. The location was so isolated, and there wasn't much nearby. Which is why I was amazed at how poor the food was. If I had been stuck in the resort for a week, I would have been fuming. One night's stay was enough for us to enjoy the good parts and then leave!

This is an amazing property with SO much potential, but it needs a lot of love and help to improve it. I booked the family sized ocean room with an incredible corner balcony facing the pool and the sea. We spent a lot of time on the balcony loungers and had food ordered to the room without leaving the suite for almost 24 hours. The bath in the middle of the room was pretty cool, and waking up to the sound of the ocean was incredible. The pool area was lovely, and the beach was very pretty and clean.

Lots of trash at the beach, we did some clean up ourselves and expected the staff to do so multiple times a day but they only did it for a certain part of the beach at the end of the day, so not the whole beach unfortunately. To see the beach so dirty was frustrating and sad. Would like the staff to be more trained in this regard. Also once the staff took our used towels and forgot to replace them so we had to call and request for new ones.

Loved the villa we stayed in, it was very spacious and had a nice layout! The beds were comfortable and the pool was amazing! Special shoutout to Tran Thanh Dien who was super kind and professional and who gave his best to make our stay as much enjoyable as possible, many thanks!!

There is no fridge in the room, the facility is a little bit old if you focus on detail, but overall is okay.

The cleaning staff weren't totally consistent when replacing towels and would sometimes forget; we couldn't get any extra water, and you only got two small bottles once a day. The gym is not well equipped, and some machinery is broken.

Excellent room; gorgeous private beach and pool area; nice spa; great breakfast; staff were nice; just super comfortable and easy to get in and out of the town.

Unfortunately the beach water wasn’t clear, looked polluted. So couldn’t go swimming at the beach.

One swimming pool was out of service, probably for an extended period. We would appreciate different opening hours for the gym; 11 am is a bit late for morning exercise, and the equipment was rather limited. There wasn't enough employees at breakfast, so when we got there at 9, essentials like yogurt and fruit were missing, requiring us to request a refill. In a 5-star hotel, I would expect such matters to be handled automatically. Overall, I wouldn't classify this hotel as five-star; it would likely meet expectations for a 3+ or 4-star rating.

We booked this hotel with the intention of simply relaxing at the beach and resting for two days. It served its purpose, but we had hoped for a bit more. The premises have significant potential, and I can imagine that it might have been a perfect place a few years ago, but nowadays, it could benefit from a bit more care and renovation. On the contrary, the beach and swimming pool were enjoyable. We appreciated the privacy of the villa and the airport shuttle bus. To travel to the city, it is necessary to either use Grab or rent a motorbike. We ordered a half board and were surprised to find that there wasn't a buffet for dinner, but instead, meals were served. While it's evident that the chef is putting in effort, and some dishes were great, a buffet option might be more preferred. We had the possibility to dine outside near the swimming pool and the atmosphere was romantic.

Our shower had very low water pressure, the toilet was running (noisy) and the TV did not work. The hotel did not provide enough drinking water.

Housekeeping had difficulties keeping up with their daily tasks. We had to call them several times during the day to make sure they'd come to clean the room. Overall the hotel seemed a bit understaffed. But the Shells is an amazing spot on the island and definitely worth a visit. We loved it.

I stayed in a Bungalow and it was very spacious and comfortable. It was easy walking distance to beach area and restaurant. Staff were extremely helpful and nothing was a problem. Would stay here again.

The location was not near shopping area so had to get taxis everywhere. We were checked in two hours later because our rooms were not ready. Offered foot spa to compensate and late check out Some of the loungers and furniture were a bit tired, could do with updating

Breakfast was excellent. The Resort had own private beach and swim pool was lovely. The apartment was very clean Laundry service was very good and overall dinner was good

The restaurant could have had a bit more of an atmosphere ( food is good tho) , the gym is a little outdated. But it’s still okay. The cleaners could be more attentive when cleaning the room. They left the floor sandy and moved things around, which was a bit irritating. We paid for Ballons for my birthday and they left them for 3 days in the room, for instance.

The view and location is very great, the rooms closer to the beach are the best in my opinion. Nice pool and private beach, attentive staff.There was a good breakfast buffet. Spa was alright! At the pool and beach the staff was excellent! The pictures make the property look more modern than it actually is, but it’s still very well done and beautiful.

The resort is obviously tired and imagine Covid meant the upkeep on this property was let go. The pictures don’t match the rooms. For the price you pay, I would expect better (like pics)The water bottles provided are super small (350ml) which is frustrating when it’s not easy to get to a store to buy more. the tv is super old and very pixelated with awful sound and no Netflix, it was funny at the time but definitely not what you expect in a resort. The spa was below average, the staff were talking throughout our treatment to each other, only put background music on halfway through, lights on full, no privacy to get into robes. The treatment itself was alright but the rest was a big put off Staff in general were very friendly and kind, I give them 5* The pool though is great though and what we came for so still enjoyed our stay

The hotel really need an update, is more a 3 star hotel than a 5 star hotel at the moment. There are nothing near the hotel you must rent a scooter or take taxi/ grab.

Only thing I’d say is that for a 5 star hotel I’d expect the staff to be more attentive. It almost felt a bit lonely there as there weren’t many guests and the bar wasn’t open at night time so there was nothing to do and the location is quite secluded, you can’t just walk into town to a restaurant and the food options here were not great.

The hotel itself really is absolutely breathtaking. Our room was a private garden room and it was so spacious and luxurious!

The room selected, trying not to be over critical, was let down by the staining of the kitchen & ancillary stone based sinks Very stained and off putting Room otherwise was big with bathtub facing the ocean with a huge cornered balcony on the first floor.

Since the property is quite far from the town, it would be good if the food menu has more choices, as the present menu is very limited.
