We did a lot of research to pick a cruise in ha long bay, this was all we wanted. First off the quality of the route, UniCharm takes you to a very different route than all the other boats at one point we were the only boat in sight so for us that was it! We just wanted to relax and enjoy the landscape. Second, the room was like in the photos very clean , bed super comfy, great place to unwind after a day biking- kayaking. The food was AMAZING they serve in a buffet style so you get plenty of food all the time. Our tour guide HUEI was great always making everyone feel involved and making conversations with us at anytime. And lastly the highlight of our time with UniCharm was getting to Cat Ba island and biking around in land getting to know the village , overall our trip was more than we expected!!

The activities started very early in the morning so we had no change our sleeping schedule. The mini fridge from the room didn't really cool anything because it stops when leaving the room (i think). It is a bit expensive but we definitely do not regret it.

This cruise was the highlight of our trip to Vietnam. We liked the ship, the rooms were great and our guide Louis was amazing. He was a one man show, there was nothing he didn't do for us. We felt great, it is very relaxing to not have to think about the activities for 3 days and go and do a bunch of stuff and not worry about paying for anything else. The food was great and they also accommodated every food restrictions (we had a vegetarian person and a no-sea-food person in the group). The boat crew was very attentive - they even brought us beach towels when we went kayaking and to the beach.

The cruise was amazing. It was lovely to be away from the crowds and other boats in Ha Long, spending more time in La Han Bay and around Cat Ba. The activities were fun, including a beautiful hike in the national park of Cat Ba! Our tour guide Hieu was brilliant, his English was great and he was very knowledgeable and always happy to chat. The rooms were also very comfortable and the food was delicious. One of our group was a vegetarian and they provided and extra plate of just veggie food, which was fab!

After reading tons of reviews we decided on this company as you spend most of the time in Lan Ha bay. It appeared than end of April was not the season as on the big boat there were only 9 guests (on other boats it looked similar) so we were treated as VIP and were offered room upgrade. The food was very good and the personnel very helpful. We did all the activities except karaoke. We enjoyed kayaking, squid fishing and biking tour. The company arranged for us tickets for further journey and it was very well organised.No problem with taking our suitcases on board. I don't regret coming for the cruise although it cost a lot.

I enjoyed everything a lot!

Premium experience doesn’t mean to have the most luxury boat with golden decoration and a bath tube in the window. This Unicharm provides you a exclusive experience by taking you to different activities than all others cruises and with perfect time to not find people around, which is hard considering this is a busy destination. We were totally alone during the night and most of the time there. The food was amazing and the crew member very kind. Our guide, Louis was fantastic! He made us have an unique experience!

Our guide during our cruise, Tiger, was the absolute best. He had great knowledge of the area, the history of Vietnam, good stories... and also super atentive! He really made the experience worthwhile. Also, the food aboard was excellent, didn't know what to expect but was gladly surprised.

A fabulous trip into a peaceful area of Ha Long Bay. The team managing the boat were professional, the food good and our guide, Hieu, was outstanding. The activities were very well planned and fun! The beds were comfortable and the boat was very clean. If you are looking for an amazing experience, look no further.

Although food was excellent it was virtually all Asian and no tea or coffee was included in the price except at breakfast.

Everything was perfect.

Louis was a great tour guide. He took great care to make sure that everyone had an amazing experience from start to finish. I really appreciate that without my even asking, he had special food made for me due to my peanut allergy. He was very kind and patient with our6 y.o. daughter. The cruise ship was clean and comfortable. The beds were perfect. We slept really well. The food was good quality - lots of variety. The days were well planned so that we had lots to do,but aLeo had the option to just relax. I would definitely recommend Unicharm to anyone.

There is too much garbage in the Bay, and the amount of air pollution made the Bay and amazing rock and limestone formations seem less than the spectacular sight it could have been.

The 3 day / 2 night cruise exceeded our expectations. The itinerary was unique and took us to places the other tours don’t go. This is an active cruise with heaps of great daily activities to get involved in (including kayaking, hiking, swimming and cycling). Dem was a brilliant tour host. He provided awesome service, planning, information and care for travellers. Highly recommend the cruise, and Dem as a guide. We travelled as a family of 5 (three teens).

More variety of food would be nice, but a small complaint. Overall, a lovely time was had.

The pick up and drop off at our Hanoi hotel was great. Loads of activities to do included Kayaking, hiking and biking, we were never bored. Louis was a great host and really looked after us. Plenty of food to eat. The boat docked in a quiet place and felt like we had the bay to ourselves, away from other boats. Room was a decent size. Vegetarians were taken care of. Towels were provided for the beach time.

I put together our independent itinerary ten months before our trip and, being the pedantic researcher I am, wanted to do my best to make sure we wouldn’t miss out on the best experience. What pulled my partner and I to The Unicharm was the itinerary. Most of Ha Long Bay, these days, is quite crowded with boats. Most boats that go out to the more tranquil Lan Ha Bay are the ones that do a two night/three day cruise. The Unicharm is one of a very small number that go out to Lan Ha Bay even for their one night / two day cruise… and within those twenty four hours, there’s so much included: kayaking, spring roll making, swimming, and a morning cycle on Cat Ba island. Our host, Binh, was professional, informative and quite funny. The food, during all meals, was varied and plenty and our room was lovely. If you want a good, professional boat with a an unbeatable itinerary, I’d definitely recommend Unicharm. We loved it.
