Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaI would rate this resort as a 3 stars +. The food was less than average and very limited options for lunch an dinner, lots of frozen dishes. The beach front and pool look a bit run down: would benefit new lounge chairs and coffee tables, umbrellas. The lounge chairs on the beach are old and uncomfortable, no side tables for a book or a drink and no umbrellas at all. Bungalows are clean but would need A/C: we paid $260 per night, I think for that price the resort should provide A/C and a better breakfast. No hairdryer or iron in the bedroom.
The staff was lovely and helpful. The reef is right on the resort beach with fabulous snorkeling, blue clear water. The resort is peaceful, a great spot to relax, and only 15 minutes away from Port vila. The restaurant terrasse on the water is amazing.

AustraliaPool area was a little dated and was away from beach and main restaurant / resort area. No toilet or facilites in pool area. Air-conditioners only in a few rooms.
Staff were extremely firendly and helpful, always willing to help and suggest ideas of things to do. Rooms were clean, felt like we were staying in a beach hut, which was perfect for the location. Although a little dated, grounds and facilities were well maintained. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway - this is the place.

AustraliaThe resort was a little dated. The cleanliness could have been better. The restaurant had limited options for meals. Was at least 1/2 hr by vehicle into the main city. Only one other restaurant in walking distance. All others were over 3 klms away. The resort offered no activities other than snorkeling. It would have been good to have pushbikes so that we could ride to other locations.
Located on a lovely stretch of coral coastline. The resort was quiet (no children). Short water taxi into Port Villa.

AustraliaBathrooms could do with a proper clean. So many mosquitos and no net for our child (!) only have nets on the double bed. The place is quite lovely, but for the price, compared to the other resort we stayed at, and from reading the reviews we expected more. The food was so expensive we ate in the city each night. Beach at low tide isn't particularly picturesque - but clearly others thinks it's a 10/10 so, each to their own!
The staff were very lovely and very helpful. The grounds are gorgeous.

The location was beautiful and peaceful. The manager was very accommodating and informative. Lovely beach and natural swimming area so you could swim when the tide was out.

United KingdomThe pool was green, dirty and not useable which meant that we had to travel to other resorts to use their pool. While it was good that the rooms were cleaned daily, the room was sandy on the floor when we arrived and the pillows were quite mouldy. It was difficult to get anywhere from the property as it’s a bit out of the way and drivers don’t usually head out there which made it hard to get in and out of town so we did a lot of walking.
The gardens, the tree on the beach, the access to kayaks and paddle boards, the restaurant by the water, the coral wall features in the bathrooms, the staff were lovely and the manager was very helpful/friendly.

New ZealandLots of bugs (and a crab!) in the room. Got bitten by ants and moVery hot and hard to sleep at night as the air con didn't work. Things falling on the roof and birds at night were very noisy so I slept with earplugs in. The reef right outside the resort was not so great for swimming and snorkelling but there are other spots to go for this.
The location (being out of busy town but close enough to catch a bus). Quiet and peaceful and clean. We The staff were so friendly and helpful. When we arrived they made us feel special and welcome. They helped us organise car hire and ordered buses so we could get around. They made recommendations about where to eat and places to visit around the island. We spent most of our time reading under the tree on the beach looking at the ocean, which was pure bliss. The paddle board was fun when it was calm enough to use and they also had snorkelling gear available.

AustraliaI had the most wonderful, warm stay at Coco Beach Resort. The best thing about the resort was the staff - Vanessa, Gina, Alice and Hiram made me feel like I was at my home away from home. I would go back in a heartbeat for them alone! I was there slightly off season and the entire stretch of beach was peaceful. I loved the fact that you could just walk straight into the ocean and snorkel or just float for hours, which I did much of the time!

The lagoon is very safe to snorkel in and has shallow beautiful snorkeling which felt safe ti venture out alone in. Loved the whole stay!

AustraliaCheckin and Resort Manager's service was very unprofessional and uncivilised. He shouts on the guest simply because his sleeps gets disturbed. After 3 changes to flight and long day at work finally i reached the place midnight and when it was raining . i was received by security guard who does not speak english. Upon asking emergency contact number he got the manager who then argued at midnight. All the days, Bedsheet, towels all were stained. Some of those stains were blood stains. Everything was broken in the room on first night, eg Bathroom Lights, Fridge,Side lights , Bed lights ,hot kettle . The worst part is due to non-working Fridge the sweet i had kept had so many ants which then made the night worse for sleeping. One extra toast he charged AUD 3, Bottle water is about AUD 15,Dinner(being veg i asked for fried rice) it would have costed about AUD35-40 I booked it with 50% discount still i can say it was not worth the money at all. Overall very poor service and too costly food and no clean rooms , rethink your stay here!
The fact that there was a beach nearby.

AustraliaThe resort is a bit out of the centre of town which is nice and quiet but getting in and out of town via taxi when there was a cruise ship in town was almost impossible. nobody wanted to come. we just hired a car which is really cheap and had no problems.
Such a gorgeous spot with your own private swim spot. love paddle boarding and snorkeling around the reef right there too. The staff were so friendly and always helpful. Vanessa makes brilliant cocktails and each morning was so special having breakfast over the water and watching sunsets from the restaurant. The chef did some really special dinners too. much better than any other food we had in town. Getting water taxis into town was not a bad price either. The rooms were always well cleaned and even with really heavy rain we were not uncomfortable.

AustraliaQuite run down, nowhere to put clothes other than hanging which accommodated about 6 hangers, so we lived out of suitcases which was awkward. Restaurant had very limited options, they wouldn’t allow lighter lunch options to be selected for dinner. No vegetarian options on the menu other than chips or wedges, no salads at dinner. Food was expensive.
Small boutique resort, staff were lovely. The rooms were ok, pretty tired, but very clean. Breakfast was included and was very nice. Snorkelling off the beach was spectacular, the resort also provides reef shoes some water craft, snorkels and fins.small fridge in the room was very welcome.
