    Beautiful surroundings, but overpriced
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple
    • Villa - Beach Front
    • Stayed 3 nights

    - We thought things were over priced - food, snorkel/bike rentals wtc... - Bed was very bouncy, not very comfortable - Really do need a car to get around otherwise expensive taxi's are the only option - Not many vegetarian options for food (but this was very common in Samoa, not just here) - No sound proofing at all in villa's, can hear every conversation from people next door - Obviously still coming back from Covis, as there is quite a bit of maintanence required

    - Right next to beach, amazing views and swimming - We were able to check in earlier after getting the bus from the wharf - Staff were very friendly - Breakfast was nice - Pool looked nice but didn't go in as was raining while we were there and didn't look too clean

The bathroom in villa 2. The shower head was hard to adjust and kept spraying in the direction of the door behind us which meant we had to move further away from the shower head and right up against the wall which was uncomfortable.

The food from the main bar and the staff. The niu(coconut) was the best I had in Samoa and I had plenty of niu around the island. Andrea and his team were very lovely and attentive to our needs for both dinner and breakfast.

Absolutely loved our stay a Stevensons. Definitely nice to get away from the busy Capital of Samoa. Savaii is the island to be for a relaxing time away from urban city.

Due to three years of COVID the whole place is in need of more customers and some maintenance- this is not surprising and didn’t worry us

The villa could’ve been a bit bigger but other than that I enjoyed my stay.

The villa was stunning. Very tidy and very clean. The food was excellent. My favourite dish was the chicken skewer, rice and salad 🤤. Everything at this resort was amazing.

    Disappointing
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Beach Front Fale with Private Bathroom
    • Stayed 2 nights

Breakfast - no choice of cereals nothing no orange juice no choice of anything except eggs. Far below resort standard's. Dinner- No choices of meals for the kids they had to have bowl of chips @10 Tala my dinner was $70.00 tala for a steak, medium rear, I got 4 bits of meat on a heap of mash potatoes, Partner order Snapper $60.00 Tala couldn't finish it as it was oily tasted funny. There was no beach as per the picture at all. Unfortunately they have rocked it all with no thought of allowing a nice access to the sea. Pool tables ripped to pieces. Happy hour 1 Cocktail and 1 beer on happy hour not good became an unhappy. Cocktails really over priced averaged $38-45 Tala per cocktail. Shower blocked and water came back up form the drain took a day to get someone to fix it. There is a kettle and fridge in the bathroom with the toilet all in the same room. So that never got used only fridge to cool the water. Buildings are left in disrepair you can see it used to be a great place at one time but left to go to the ruin. Staff weren't exactly friendly and not welcoming

The Pool was good a bit worn with some tiles missing. Great that there was no time of operation.

Because of location of resort, food prices are expensive. We drove 4 minutes down the road to Kokonuts Pizzaria in Lelepa across Le Lagoto for good affordable wood fire pizza.

Beautiful resort. There are parts where its abit outdated but it doesn't take away from the charm. We were upgraded for free to a Beach Villa - absolute bomb 😍 so cool waking up to the beach only steps away. staff were friendly. Thank you Stevensons. Best a Savaii.

The room furniture was stale, smelt damp, the doors and door handles were hard to open and shut, the toilet rocked, was not bolted in to the floor. The air conditioning unit connecting the water pipe was spraying out water. Def no investment in to the property, some parts in a decrepid state. Sad really, it could have been great.

The beach, the firm beds, the lady in the kitchen for breakfast, she should be the boss! Nice Samoan lady serving us. Oh, and the cats!

Wow. The water was always off in the morning when we got ready to go somewhere. I didn't like how dark the room was & tbh I couldn't find more photos of the accomodation well the rooms, it just wasn't what I expected .. I overpaid for the rooms I had ..

I only liked the staff and location of the accomdoation how it was close to the village we were visiting.

Had asked staff multiple times to fix blocked shower had to use next door neighbours shower after 4 days of asking shower was never fixed. Had asked for room to be serviced and hung sign on door handle indicating this just to find sign on the ground and no servicing done. Will not be staying here again. Not the experience I expected especially for the amount of money that was paid. On the plus side staff were pleasant to deal with management may need to upgrade or renew facilities.

This property needs a lot of maintenance and I mean ALOT! Our bathroom sinks were blocked everyday, and the water coming out from the taps was brown. The decking around the pool and bar area needs major renovations, it feels like your leg is going to go through it. Feels like the owners have given up. So much potential to be the top resort of the island.

The view was spectacular, the beach is beautiful. It was so nice to wake up to the sound of the ocean and open your doors to the beautiful scenery

My room; I love the whole concept of my room, however, there were issues. The bathroom door wasn't secure. Even though you could lock it, it did look like someone had tried to break in. So it was annoying that I had to carry my luggage back and forth to my car whenever I left. The mosquito nets were worse for wear. I had to duck down because the nets were tied to the walls and were sagging down. You can not walk upright inside the room unless you're a child or 4 foot. There is only one plug socket in the room area and the plug socket in the bathroom is used by the bar fridge. My toilet when flushed, gushed out water from base of toilet. The area where the shut off valve is below, was loosely attached. The shower was thumbs down for me only because it felt uncomfortable standing on the edged rocks to take a shower. I appreciate the whole authentic experience with the rocks, unfortunately, it can be a hazard.

The staff such as Lisa at reception, Tonè at the bar and the female cook to whom I did not get her name are an asset to this establishment. It's a shame that the staff have to work with what they have and keep a smile on their faces.
